Yao Lake

Yao Lake is the largest inland natural lake in Nanchang area, with a surface area of more than 22000 mu. It is located in the eastern suburb of Nanchang City, adjacent to Jiangxi Normal University, and connected with the developed Qingshan Lake and Aixi Lake in Nanchang city. Changwan highway runs through the center of the lake, only nine kilometers away from Nanchang Guangchang.

From south to north, it is divided into Shangyao lake, Zhongyao lake and Xiayao lake. The lake basin is flat, the lake surface is open, and the clear water is full of water. In spring and summer, the lotus flowers are blooming, and the fish are playing with fragrance. It is graceful and beautiful. In autumn, tens of thousands of rare migratory birds roam the lake, and the scene of warblers singing and swallows dancing is beautiful. In addition, there are eight sceneries along the Yaohu Lake: Ming Dynasty architecture Feimei pagoda, Liucheng temple, Daqing ancient temple, Yangtze River ancient ferry, Longqiao live water, ershengming lamp, Houfu Yuge, eight people Baozhang, and ancient cultural sites from the Neolithic Age to the Shang and Zhou dynasties in xipishan and lvmenggang, which form a unique Yaohu lake landscape.

Yao Lake

Yao Lake is located in Machu Town, high tech Zone, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It is the largest inland natural lake in Nanchang area. The existing water surface is 15.25 square kilometers, which is the largest natural lake in Nanchang area. It is connected with the developed Qingshan Lake and Aixi Lake in Nanchang city. Changwan highway runs through the center of the lake and Fuzhou Yinchuan Expressway (G70) runs along the east side of the lake.

Yao Lake has a stable water level and an annual average depth of 15 meters. Its water quality is excellent with a pH value of 6.5. The eight sceneries of Yao Lake include the Yangtze River ancient ferry, Liucheng evening drum, Houpu Fishing Song, Longqiao live water, ershengshendeng, Wanxi Qiaomu, Daxiong Fancha and Puji morning bell. The famous pagoda of Ming Dynasty is not among the eight sceneries, but also Nanchang The scenic spots of Yao Lake make people forget to return. In the north, there is the South Branch of Jiangxi Province, which is directly connected to Poyang Lake.
