Malinghe gorge is located 4 kilometers northeast of Xingyi City. The gorge is about 15 kilometers long. There are steep cliffs on both sides of the gorge. The average width and depth of the canyon are between 200 and 400 meters. The narrowest part is only 50 meters and the deepest part is 500 meters. It is rare that the canyon is so narrow and so deep. In 1998, the first China International kayaking competition was held in Maling River Canyon. The whole course of Maling River drifting is more than 50 kilometers. It has gone through more than 80 dangerous beaches, more than 70 deep pools and more than 60 bays. The first section is Qingshui River rafting. From Qingshui River Bridge to Maling ancient bridge, it is 26 km, with a drop of 108 meters. In the process of drifting, you have to pass through such scenic spots as "YEMA Beach", "Menghu bank", "grotto cliff" and "Huifeng cliff". The third section starts from Tianxing Gallery scenic spot and ends at zhaojiadu bridge, with a total length of about 22 kilometers. The scenery on both sides of the canyon is excellent, and the river drop is large, which is thrilling and exciting.

The fourth section, from zhaojiadu to Wanfeng Lake, is the most challenging and dangerous section with the largest drop and the most dangerous beaches. Now, except for professional rafters, it is not open to ordinary tourists. It is an adventure type.
