Liuyang Lake
Liuyang lake is also known as Zhushuqiao reservoir. It is located in the downstream of Shuixi River, the first tributary of Xiangshui River in Liuyang, Henan Province. It is located in Liuyang City, 33km away from the county seat. It was built in October 1986 and completed in October 1992. It is the largest reservoir in Changsha with 31 reservoir length, 171 dam crest elevation, 78 maximum dam height, 245 maximum dam crest length, 8 maximum dam crest width, 27.83 billion reservoir capacity, 5.46 million rainwater collection area and 165 normal water level.
geographical environment
It "faces the clear water, backs the green mountain, cherishes the colored lamp, the decoration Pavilion", the scenery is beautiful, is better than the Lijiang River. It is not only the "leading" reservoir of Liuyang River, but also the key hydropower source with good regulation performance and great benefit in Liuyang County. The catchment area of the reservoir is 564 square kilometers, and the basin is located in the rainstorm area of eastern Hunan. The rainstorm has many probability and intensity, and lasts for 1-3 days. The average annual rainfall is 1601 mm, and the maximum annual rainfall is 2165 mm. The average annual runoff of the dam site is 555 million cubic meters, and the average annual runoff is 17.8 second cubic meters. Because the reservoir is located in the rainstorm area, and there are Liuyang County, Changsha City, the provincial capital, and Beijing Guangzhou railway downstream, the flood control standard is designed according to the flood peak discharge of 2980 seconds per meter with 100 year return period, and checked according to the flood peak discharge of 5540 seconds per meter with 10000 year return period. The reservoir has a total capacity of 278 million cubic meters, a normal water level of 165 meters, a corresponding capacity of 229 million cubic meters, a dead water level of 136 meters, an effective capacity of 190 million cubic meters, and a capacity coefficient of 0.343. The backwater of the reservoir is 30.5km long, covering 16050 mu of land and 3559 people.
Design features
The complex building is composed of reinforced concrete face rockfill dam, spillway, diversion and power generation tunnel, power house, booster station, etc. The crest elevation of CFRD is 171 m, the maximum dam height is 78 m and the crest length is 245 M The dam has a crest width of 8m, upstream dam slope of 1:1.4 and downstream dam slope of 1:1.7, and a rockfill volume of 817800 cubic meters. Limestone and thousand pieces of Sericite siliceous slate are mainly used to fill the dam area. An open spillway is arranged at the left dam head with a crest elevation of 152m, and three 10 × 13m steel radial gates are installed, with a chute length of 300m and a clear width The diversion and power generation tunnel is arranged in the mountain on the right bank, which has the functions of diversion, power generation and venting. The bottom sill elevation of the diversion tunnel inlet is 101m, and that of the dragon head power generation tunnel inlet is 101m The tunnel is 121m in diameter, 5.2m in diameter, and the maximum diversion flow of power generation is 49.5s cubic meters. The powerhouse behind the dam is located at the downstream of the dam, and three units with a single unit capacity of 8000 kW are installed, with a single unit diversion flow of 16.5s cubic meters, a design head of 58m, and an average annual power generation of 72.6 million kwh. The reservoir is mainly for power generation, with comprehensive benefits of irrigation, flood control and tourism development. Through reservoir regulation, the original minimum natural flow of the river can be increased from 2.62 seconds per meter to 10.9 seconds per meter (the guarantee rate is 90%), which not only ensures the irrigation water for the farmland along both sides of the river in dry season, but also increases the output and power generation of 9 cascade hydropower stations on the downstream Liuyang River (Level 2 has been built), 3587 kilowatts and 25 million kilowatt hours, and alleviates the power shortage of the whole county.
Management of Liuzhou reservoir
Zhushuqiao Reservoir Administration Bureau of Liuyang City, Hunan Province was established in March 1990 and upgraded to a vice county level institution in 2007, There are six functional departments including office, water resources protection department, engineering management department, economic construction department, political and labor affairs department and financial audit department, and three sub section level institutions including pivotal project management institute, Resource Management Institute and hydropower dispatching and Irrigation Management Institute. There are 317 cadres and employees in the whole situation. The reservoir has a capacity of 278 million cubic meters, a total catchment area of 564 square kilometers, an installed capacity of 24000 kilowatts (3 × 8000) and a designed annual power generation of 72.6 million kwh. It is responsible for 564 square kilometers of water resources protection, water supply, flood regulation, irrigation, power generation and other important functions. Over the years, on the basis of flood control, irrigation and power generation, the administration has optimized the industrial structure, sought economic development, and developed property management, water conservancy and hydropower projects, fine chemicals, engineering surveying and mapping and other industries. It has won the honorary titles of "National Youth Civilization", "provincial civilized unit", "provincial garden type unit" and "provincial model worker's home". In 2008, the new leading group led the cadres and workers of the whole situation to practice the new development concept. Zhushuqiao has made great achievements, starting the transformation from power generation to water supply. The overall situation, the government and the people are in harmony, and all the work has achieved great leap forward development.
Zhushuqiao water diversion and water quality environmental engineering project, a key project in Changsha, is under construction. The project is expected to be completed in 2009, when it will send a sweet spring to the people of Changsha.
