TANGDAOWAN Binhai park is located in the West Coast new area of Qingdao. It is a national AAA scenic spot with the reputation of "West Lake on the sea" and "Qingdao West Garden". It is a large-scale marine park built around the two headlands of Tangdao Bay. It is a resort for leisure, vacation and sightseeing.

It is divided into North and south banks, with wharf leisure village, coastal leisure square, beach style area, wetland experience area, Tangdao bay seaside park, Tangdao Bay Yacht Club, Tangdao Bay Sea carnival, rainbow bridge and silver beach botanical garden. Qingdao Shell Museum, "eyes of Qindao" Ferris wheel and other scenic spots are located in the park. The bay is the Bay in the sea, also known as the inner bay. The mouth of the bay is Tang island.

The coastline of the South Bank of the bay is basically arranged according to the coastline, maintaining the natural landscape of the original beach reef.

The north bank is Tangdao Bay Coastal Park, which is also built along the coastline. TANGDAOWAN coastal park is positioned as a city park, and all resources are open to the public free of charge.

In the planning and design of the park, the experience of Shanghai World Expo Park, Cairns Park in Australia and lover's harbor in Sydney and other famous landscape parks at home and abroad are fully used for reference. The local cultural elements such as fishing net rack, Huangdao paper-cut and seaweed room are well used in the park construction, and the design scheme has won the "national classic architecture planning for human settlements" Design Competition "environment Gold Award.

Tangdao Bay North Bank Park

Located in the administrative and business center of Qingdao Development Zone, it has 10 square kilometers of sea area and 10 kilometers of coastline. It was named after the garrison of Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty. In the past millennium, Tangdao Bay has been prosperous and brilliant. During the Southern Song Dynasty, the famous "Song Jin naval battle" broke out. More than 100 warships of the Jin army were annihilated here. Kublai Khan, the ancestor of the Yuan Dynasty, opened the first sea transportation. Tangdao Bay became an important mooring point in the sea route of transporting grain from south to north. During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the mahaoyun River, which runs through Tangdao Bay and Qianwan, developed into a distribution center for grain ships. As an important transportation hub for merchants in the north and the south, Tangdao Bay once had a prosperous scene, which promoted the development of maritime transportation and economy in the north and the south.

Tangdao Bay is endowed with the functions of water sports and business leisure due to its geographical advantages and excellent natural water conditions. The government of Qingdao Development Zone attaches great importance to the development of Tangdao Bay. Since 2001, it has invested more than 600 million yuan to comprehensively harness Tangdao Bay, which was once silted up, and built Tangdao Bay Coastal Park. Tangdao Bay, with 10 square kilometers of rippling blue waves and seagulls, 8 sightseeing trestles, 3 floating docks, nearly 70000 square meters of yacht wharf and 8 kilometers of beautiful guardrails, is full of the flavor of modern seashore; the coastal park adjacent to the sea is 4.5 kilometers from east to west, with the theme of "navigation, canal, love and sports", integrating culture, fashion and experience, and planning The theme tourist areas such as wharf leisure and entertainment village, coastal Eden, coastal leisure square, public art park, Canal Square, coastal sports leisure and entertainment center, and ecological leisure park have been built. The small bridges in the park are quiet, the water is gurgling, and the flowers are blooming, making people feel like they are in the water town of the south of the Yangtze River.

The park is rich in tourism projects. It has opened up a sea tourism route from Tangdao bay to zhucha Island (Lingshan Island), and launched dozens of sea entertainment projects to experience kayaking, Take yachts and battery boats to roam on the sea, board double bikes in Shanghai, feel intimacy and happiness, take rowing boats and mushroom pedals, and experience the fun and excitement of sports; there are also "iceberg" on the sea, seesaw on the sea, water walker, trampoline, swan boat, horse and bumper car and other water shore amusement facilities for children and adults to play. It is located in the West Ring of Qingdao Phoenix International Tourism Island, between yinshatan road and Tangdao Bay. The construction of the park started in July 2010 and opened on April 27, 2012. Relying on the most valuable advantages of "natural beach", "wetland landscape" and "excellent urban viewing belt" in the South Bank of Tangdao Bay, and skillfully learning from the experience of Shanghai World Expo Park, Cairns Park in Australia, lover harbor in Sydney and other famous landscape parks at home and abroad, the park is built to meet the needs of high-end tourism and vacation It is a coastal landscape park that embodies Island customs and bay culture, and mainly focuses on static leisure. The design scheme has also won the "environmental Gold Award of the national classic residential building planning and design scheme competition".

With a total length of 3.9 km, covering an area of 30 hectares and a total investment of 170 million yuan, TANGDAOWAN south bank park is a coastal landscape park integrating leisure, entertainment and fitness. It is also the first demonstration area of "Green Island plan" in our district. The landscape architecture of the park is "one axis, one belt, two wings and four districts". "One axis" refers to the extension of the main axis of the city and the embodiment of urban culture; "one belt" is a bay waterfront sightseeing belt with unique customs, and a greenway system specially set up for cycling and walking. "Two wings" refers to connecting urban life to the north and continuing ecological leisure to the south. From east to west, the "four zones" in turn are the wharf amusement zone embodying fashion vitality, the cultural activity zone focusing on culture and art, the beach style zone displaying romantic leisure and the wetland experience zone reproducing ecological nature.

Pier recreation area

Reflecting the theme of fashion vitality and sports leisure, it is mainly composed of Huandong square, roller skating zone, safety zone, tourist center, etc. Among them, Huandong square is a city landmark landscape composed of five trumpet shaped membrane structures. Combined with the beautiful night scene effect, it highlights the "colorful" urban living atmosphere. The square is also the main place for citizens to play, gather and perform.

Cultural activity area

We can feel the local culture, romantic and warm atmosphere. The area is composed of Golden Phoenix Culture Square, lover's Bay Square, rockery and water, Huangdao paper-cut art sculpture, fishing net rack and other scenic spots, and interactive space between children and the elderly. Valentine's Bay Plaza is a hydrophilic plank road based on "sea" and smooth "notes", which is surrounded by a romantic "sea trestle". From high altitude, it is a shape similar to a treble clef. Golden Phoenix Cultural Square is an extension of the axis square of the city's administrative center, and also the central area of the south bank park. The landscape model highlights the sharp bow and the mooring piles on both sides, symbolizing the "sailing" of the city with the "boat" shape into the sea.

Beach area

The 760m natural beach coastline is reserved in this area, which reflects the artistic conception of being close to the sea, catching seashells in the sea, watching the city and collecting wind. There are some scenic spots, such as small bridge and flowing water, listening to the waves platform, sunshine lawn performance square, creative tree pool stool, sea viewing gallery, wind collecting trestle Road, seaweed house, etc. Among them, the sea view gallery is built along the hillside to create a magnificent sea view gallery with a total length of 280 meters. The overall shape is like a dragon into the sea. It is an excellent view of the sea and the city, as well as the most beautiful scenic spot from the north bank to the south bank. Seagrass house, with seagrass as the top, stone and wood as the main body, has the function of warm in winter and cool in summer. It is an original residential building rich in island culture, which complements the landscape of mountain and sea. In 2006, it was listed in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage protection list of Shandong Province. There are also 45 seaweed houses on Fenghuang Island, which will be an important carrier for the development of island characteristic tourism in the future.

Wetland experience area

This area is low-lying and has many water systems. The original water systems are integrated to create wetland ecological landscape, covering a total area of 52000 square meters, including about 22000 square meters of water. There are rich varieties of aquatic plants planted along the coast and on the water surface, and the landscape effect is unique. The main scenic spots are waterfront trail, hydrophilic platform, bird watching Gallery, mountain Pavilion, sea viewing platform, teahouse and wooden house, which embody the theme of hydrophilic city view and natural leisure.
