Grand Canyon, also known as "open-pit pond mouth", also known as "wuwanggu", is actually the site of artificial mining of ore. Its east-west direction is more than 1000 meters, north-south width is more than 200 meters, and depth is more than 100 meters. It is the largest man-made Grand Canyon and the largest dry pit in Jiangsu Province.

One of the park's major experience activities is the small narrow gauge train project being built. The speed of narrow gauge small train is only 20 kilometers per hour, which is similar to the speed of ordinary bicycle. It is called "the slowest small train". At the entrance of the park, you can see the old steam locomotive standing there quietly. However, the small train that tourists will take at that time is not this one, but a small train powered by diesel locomotive. At present, the carriage has been ordered and is expected to be available when the park opens.

The tracks of the little train are already ready. According to reports, Yeshan narrow gauge railway in the park was built in 1963, with a total length of 46 kilometers, connecting Jinniu Lake scenic spot, Guizi Mountain shizhulin National Geopark and other scenic spots from north to south. At that time, the small train will run along this section of track.

After the opening of ningtian intercity railway in 2014, tourists can get down from the 800 Bridge Station of Nanjing Metro Line S8 and walk dozens of meters to take a small train. Take the "slowest train", about an hour to reach the main Monument Square of Yeshan National Mine Park.
