Bridge structure
Nanjing Baguazhou Yangtze River Bridge is composed of the South and North Branch bridges and the south bank, Baguazhou and north bank leads
.
Nancha Bridge
The main bridge foundation of the Yangtze River Bridge South Branch Bridge in Bagua Zhou, Nanjing is constructed by double wall steel cofferdam with an outer diameter of 36 meters, an inner diameter of 33 meters, and a double wall spacing of 1.5 meters. The height of the north and South steel cofferdams is 53.23 meters and 65.5 meters respectively, and the bottom of the steel cofferdam is 25 underwater concrete with an effective thickness of 8 meters. 21 large diameter bored piles with a diameter of 3 meters are used for the pile foundation of the north and South towers, and the pile lengths are 102 meters and 83 meters respectively, with No. 30 concrete pouring. The bearing platform is 6m thick reinforced concrete. The cable tower is a diamond shaped reinforced concrete cable tower. The lower tower column is a bi-directional variable cross-section, and its size changes from 12 × 7m to 8.013 × 4.785m. The middle and upper tower columns are 7.0 × 4.5m in equal cross-section. The cross beam is prestressed reinforced concrete, and the upper tower column is set with circumferential prestress. The main tower is 195.41m high, and the building height is nearly 300m. The main beam is composed of 93 steel box girders suspended, assembled and welded on site. The steel box girders are first made into plate units in the factory, assembled into standard sections in the steel box girder pre assembly site, and transported to the bridge site by water vessels. 36 steel box girders are pre hoisted in place by large floating cranes, and the rest are hoisted by bridge deck hydraulic cranes. In addition to the U-rib joint of the upper roof, the steel box girder segments are connected by high-strength bolts, and the rest are all welded. There are 160 stay cables in the whole bridge of Nancha bridge, which are composed of 7 galvanized parallel steel wires with high strength and low relaxation. The longest cable is 330 meters, and there are 265 steel wires, weighing 30 tons. The bridge deck is directly paved on the steel plate with 5cm epoxy asphalt concrete. The foundation of approach bridge of Nancha bridge is bored pile, the bearing platform is separated rectangular bearing platform; the pier body is thin-walled pier; the bearing is basin type rubber bearing; the upper prestressed concrete continuous box girder is separated up and down, and the prestress adopts two-way group anchor prestress system
.
Beicha Bridge
The Beicha bridge of Nanjing Baguazhou Yangtze River Bridge is a five span continuous prestressed continuous girder bridge with a main span of (90 + 3 × 165 + 90) m and a length of 2172 m, ranking first in Asia among the similar bridges. The bored pile diameter of Beicha main bridge is 2.5m; the main pier bearing platform is an integral high pile rectangular bearing platform, and the side pier bearing platform is a separated high pile bearing platform; the pier body is a separated thin-walled pier; the bearing is a basin type rubber bearing; the upper prestressed concrete continuous box girder is separated up and down, and is a three-way prestressed system. The foundation of the North Branch approach bridge is 1.5m or 1.8m bored pile; the bearing platform is a separated rectangular bearing platform; the pier body is a column pier or thin-walled pier; the bearing is a basin type rubber bearing; the upper prestressed concrete continuous box girder is a two-way prestressed system with up and down separation. The abutment is rib embedded abutment
