Picha scenic spot is located in picha Valley, 22 kilometers northwest of Xinlong county. The main natural scenic spots are colorful forest, Gala mountain, friendship wetland grassland, and the main cultural scenic spots are Wopu temple and Gesar relics.

The main scenic spots are colorful forest, magical peak forest, Ningma temple, Wopu temple, the famous god mountain of Gala, the legendary relics of King Gesar, Tibetan village, grassland, hot spring and so on.

Natural scenic spots

Colorful forest

Due to the special climate of the plateau, autumn comes earlier here. Different tree species have different sensitivity to autumn, and they play different roles. Some of them are envoys of spring, some of them are friends of summer, and some of them have long been pregnant with the charm of autumn, hence the name of colorful forest.

Gala mountain

Gala mountain, kavalori mountain, xionglongzhaga mountain, xiangdeselang mountain and Lazaga mountain are known as the five sacred mountains of Xinlong. Gala mountain has strong lines and light gray peaks, which point to the blue sky under the sun. The forest on the hillside is luxuriant, like a mountain god with beards, full of aura and wisdom. The stone wall of the mountain is thousands of feet long, like a knife splitting. The pines squeeze out from the cracks of the stone wall, like Kangba men who stand aloof from heaven and earth, waiting for the goddess of snow peak. Nature's uncanny workmanship makes Gala mountain not only green and luxuriant with Huangshan Mountain, but also peculiar and precipitous with Huashan Mountain.

Friendship wetland grassland

63 kilometers away from the county seat, it is an important part of the most beautiful grassland in Northwest Sichuan in China. There are many marshes on the grassland. In summer and autumn, it is an ideal place for photography and experience of herdsmen's life.

Picha peak forest

It is 25 kilometers away from the county, with a peak forest area of 178.96 square kilometers. The scenic spot is about 2800 meters above sea level. It is only 4 kilometers from the Zhuwo bridge into the ditch. The rolling mountains in the territory are of various shapes and majestic. Sister mountain, Bidou peak, Nangong borenzhu and other peaks all have a magical legend. During the reign of Guangxu, Zhang Jizeng, magistrate of Dingyou County, wrote a poem praising this place.

Due to the numerous peaks, suitable for military training, there are three rock climbing zones in history. No.1 climbing belt is similar to Maitreya's rock. It is said that it is the training place of gongbulangjie, a national hero in the history of Xinlong. Those who can climb with bare hands are named Kangba men, who will be rewarded. Those who can't climb with bare hands bow to the cliff, who are willing to bow down. No.2 climbing belt is bruman's Guardian mountain. It is said that bruman has climbed this mountain many times with his bare hands, which makes his hands admire. To climb the mountain is Liang ruwa's real hero. No.3 climbing belt is located on the steep rock opposite the back stone of King Gesar. It is said that those who can climb this peak can compete with King Gesar, the God of war in the Tibetan heart.

Ridagou hot spring

Located in picha Township, 42 kilometers away from the county seat, the ditch has beautiful scenery and is suitable for bathing.

All night hot spring

Located in Tongxiao Township, 51 kilometers away from the county seat, the hot spring is surrounded by a sea of rhododendrons every spring, and the scenery is very good.

Cultural attractions

Wopu Temple

Located in the secluded woods on the other side of Gala mountain, it has a history of more than 700 years. It is a Ningma temple in Xinlong. It is said that the founder, suodengzi, and his disciples came back from Tibet to build the temple and carry forward Buddhism, and traveled all over the mountains and rivers of Xinlong. When they ascended the gala mountain, they saw thousands of rays on the other side of the mountain, just like the blooming snow lotus. When you look closer, it turns out that it is the light emitted from the six character mantra of "Oh, Ma, Mo, Feng" formed naturally on the boulder. Many of his dengdengzi and his disciples built temples here, hence the name of "Wopu".

Gesar ruins

It is said that when King Gesar was stranded in Xinlong, picha township was under the jurisdiction of Chao Ge Niang Zaad, the eldest son of his uncle Chao Tong. The farmers and herdsmen here lived carefree life from generation to generation. Every time they went to the "Chaoshan meeting", the people would go to worship the holy mountain of Gala. However, when there is an unexpected situation, a huge "xiajiaqu" (a kind of ferocious bird) came to the top of Gala mountain. From time to time, it took the villagers' cattle and sheep to the top of the mountain and devoured them. From then on, the people lived in dire straits. Gesar learned about this, after a lot of hard work to get rid of it. There are many remains of Gesar strangling xiajiaqu, such as "back stone", "ghost claw stone" and so on.

Tourism transportation

There is a bus to Kangding every hour from 7:00 to 12:00 in Chengdu. After staying overnight, it will transfer to Xinlong county
