Bison ditch

Yeniugou is located in Jintang nature reserve, 126 km north of Kangding County. Around the left bank of Dadu River, it is about 1o2.o2-1o2.14 e, 3o.26-3o.39 N and 1700-5712m above sea level. The climate belongs to subtropical arid valley climate.

Bison ditch is named for the herd of bison in the ditch. It is 30 km long and has 20 square kilometers of virgin forest and natural grassland. Among them, virgin forest is the only virgin pure Minjiang cypress forest in China; there are more than 310 five color natural Haizi, 15 waterfalls and several snow peaks. The distribution of virgin forest from 2300-4600 m above sea level is dominated by subalpine evergreen deciduous broad-leaved forest, coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest and deciduous broad-leaved shrub. The representative plants are Pinus yunnanensis, Tsuga Tsuga, Pinus tabulaeformis, Pinus armandii, etc. There are dozens of rare animals and hundreds of birds living in yeniugou, such as rabbit and monkey, rock sheep, argali, ox antelope, green rainbow pheasant and so on. It can be called "forest treasure chest" and "biological gene bank".

At the bottom of the bison ditch, there is an alpine meadow. There is a moraine lake with an area of more than 100 mu at the bottom of the gully at an altitude of 4500 meters, called changhaizi. Every year, Tibetans inside and outside the gully go to changhaizi to pay homage to the two men, two women and four mountain god Bodhisattvas who protect yeniugou.

Yeniugou is rich in water resources. Changhaizi and the snow water on the mountain converge into a clear stream. It turns south and flows West into the Dadu River, about 30 kilometers long.

A solian waterfall originated from changhaizi is suspended in the west of the stone mountain. As long as there is sun, a rainbow will be formed under the waterfall every afternoon. As time goes on, the position of the rainbow will gradually rise, becoming a wonder of yeniugou.

Yeshangou rock painting

It is located at the foot of Kunlun mountain about 70 kilometers northwest of Golmud Township, Golmud City, Haixi Prefecture, Qinghai Province. This ditch is the summer grassland of local herdsmen. The Sidaogou mountain ridge where the rock painting is located is about 3900 meters above sea level, with a relative height of about 30 meters, southeast northwest trend.

Yeniugou rock painting is made of iron tools. There are about 200 individual images. From the content can be divided into cattle, deer, camel, wolf, leopard, eagle, hunting, travel and so on. The image of cattle accounts for a large proportion in rock paintings. Except for a few in the state of being hunted, most of them are isolated and static cattle. Its creation technique has strong model color. This shows that behind the image of cattle, it means certain ideas. Its creation technique has strong model color.
