Dawushan Forest Park
Dawushan Forest Park is located in the northwest of Heilin Town, with an area of 7 square kilometers and an altitude of 364.5 meters. It is the second highest peak in Jiangsu Province. It is composed of dawushan, xiaowushan and many other mountains. Buddhism and Taoism build temples here to be worshipped. Therefore, there are 99 sites of Xianju in "Taishan Palace" of xuanyang temple.
The peak of Dawu is high and beautiful, known as 18 wonders. It is said that in the first year of Zhenguan (627) of Tang Dynasty, Wu Fengying, a daughter of the people, took this mountain as the king. She died in a miraculous way and prayed for the flood and drought. In the sixth year of Yonghui (655), Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty granted her the title of Xianhui king, so she was named Wu Fengshan. There are ancient temples on the mountain, ancient wells beside the temples and "holy springs" and other relics. The ancient Cangsong temple in the mountains has grotesque caves and rocks, black tea is like fire, and white flowers are like snow. Among them, "Wu Feng looks at the sun" is the best of the eight sceneries in Ganyu. Ni Changxi's poem "Wu Feng looks at the sun" is an excellent description of Wu Feng looking at the sun. In addition, there are only two solar observatories of Zijinshan Observatory in front of Dawu Mountain in China.
