Rebuild
Update: November 3, 2015
On November 4, at the construction site of Fancun stage protection and repair project in Fancun Town, a "provincial key cultural relic protection unit" in our city, the reporter saw that the protection net has been built around the ancient stage, and the internal scaffold steel pipe construction and other projects are being carried out in an orderly manner. The construction of the project started on November 3.
The stage is located in the Fancun cultural center. It was founded in 1426, the 24th year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in 1466, the 2nd year of Chenghua. It was originally the main building on the central axis of Guandi temple. Other buildings of Guandi temple were destroyed in the early days, but now only the stage is left. The stage faces north and south, with a construction area of 163.83 square meters. It is one of the most complete preserved stages in our city. It provides precious material materials for the study of architectural form and construction art in the early Ming Dynasty, and also provides corresponding reference materials for the study of local folk culture. In 1985, it was announced as "provincial key cultural relics protection unit".
Over the years, due to various reasons such as natural factors, the historical environment of the stage has been seriously damaged. Now the horizon and the stage base are basically filled, and the roof is broken, the tube tiles fall off, and the columns sink. Moreover, the fire protection, security, technical defense facilities and other management systems of the stage are weak, and the protection conditions are extremely poor. Therefore, according to the current situation, the Municipal Bureau of cultural relics completed the project approval and approval of the renovation project in time, and started the protection and renovation work of Fancun stage according to the principle of repairing the old as before, so as to maintain the antique flavor of the stage as far as possible. The whole renovation is expected to be completed soon.
