Development history
Historically, the Tumet tribe has a vast territory, a long history and rich culture, which has played an important role in the historical changes, social progress, cultural development, economic construction and national unity of Inner Mongolia. The hardworking and brave Tumet people have created splendid material culture and precious spiritual wealth in the long river of promoting the northern civilization and the historical progress of Inner Mongolia, leaving us rich and distinctive historical and cultural relics. As the first national autonomous region established in New China, Inner Mongolia has become an example for the Communist Party of China to implement the system of regional national autonomy. It is a great initiative of combining the basic principles of Marxism with the national reality in China, and also a monument in the history of China's national relations. As one of the red cradles of Chinese revolution, Tumet witnessed and creatively participated in this great revolution. Countless ancestors wrote magnificent historical poems on the vast land of Tumet with their blood and life.
Due to historical reasons, the Tumet tribe constantly migrated, forming the East and West Tumet, weaving a unique national cultural landscape in the north of the motherland. The working people of all ethnic groups who have lived and multiplied in East and West Tumet from generation to generation have created rich and colorful history and culture with wisdom, courage and diligence. They have integrated with Tumet's land, mountains, rivers and plants, formed distinctive national culture and folk customs with outstanding personality, and condensed into a great spiritual power for the continuous prosperity and development of Tumet culture. With the passage of time, many cultural relics bearing the Tumet Mongolian and other ethnic brothers living together, sharing the same destiny and participating in the glorious history of the Chinese revolution are being lost. In order to save and preserve these precious historical memories in time, organize, study and display these historical and cultural relics, promote national unity, serve the construction of a harmonious society, promote the construction of the cultural region of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and contribute to the sound and rapid economic and social development of Inner Mongolia Autonomous region, and participate in the revitalization of the northeast economy and the implementation of the strategy of the western development, famous cultural scholars Wu Wenbin, a translator, writer, collector and descendant of the Tumet tribe of Inner Mongolia, initiated the investment and preparation for the construction of the Tumet Museum of Inner Mongolia.
