Qiancenfeng is located on the Bank of Huanggang River, 8km southeast of Yuliao Town, Fengkai County, Guangdong Province. It is composed of overlapping colorful sand shale and local calcareous shale. It belongs to sandstone peak forest landform and was formed in the Devonian period 380 million years ago. It is also the peak of the oldest orogeny in China - the Caledonian orogeny. It is one of the two standard places of the Caledonian orogeny in Guangdong Province. The main peak is 233 meters high. It's like a sword leaning on the sky. It goes straight into the sky. It's magnificent and precipitous. Although the mountain is not high, it is a combination of "the wonder of Huangshan, the danger of Huashan, the beauty of Lushan and the seclusion of Emei".

Introduction to scenic spots

Qiancengfeng scenic area has been developed successively since the development of Longshan karst scenic area in 1984. It has opened a section of climbing stone path from the foot of the mountain to Yuxi peak and a line of sky, stone steps and Tianquan, built a pavilion, and developed into a water playing area with parking lot, viewing platform and waterfall Pavilion. The zodiac garden covers an area of about one mu by the river upstream. At present, the development of qiancengfeng scenic spot is only a small part. It also needs to build memorial archways, hotels, shopping malls and service facilities. It will gather the long closed folk culture, build folk holiday village, gradually improve the supporting facilities of the scenic spot and receive more tourists.

When you step into qiancengfeng scenic spot, you will see many peaks standing by the river. The peak is more than 200 meters high. It is composed of layers of sedimentary sand shale, which is unique, so it is called qiancengfeng. The qiancenfeng mountain is called Shayan peak forest landform in geology and geomorphology

The landform of Jiajie is the same. It was formed in the Devonian period 380 million years ago. It is also the peak caused by Jialidong orogeny, the oldest orogeny in China. It is one of the two standard places of Jialidong orogeny in Guangdong Province, and has great scientific significance for the study of Geology and geomorphology.

Guest-Greeting Pine

In qiancengfeng Valley, the first thing to welcome visitors is the dragon like "Yingke pine". At the height of the cliff, this vigorous pine tree hangs upside down from the rock on the side of the mountain, like a hand stretched out from the rock. It is placed on the forehead and anxiously stares at the distance of the road to see if there are visitors. Under the green pine, it feels like a dancing boy who welcomes visitors. The word "welcome" on the stone wall is written by Qin Yusheng, a famous poet and calligrapher in our province. Along the way, we can see that the peaks stand by the river, which is magnificent and precipitous. On the cliffs, there are green pines and exotic flowers. Especially in late spring, March and Qingming, the azaleas all over the mountains are in full bloom. On the hillside, the top of the mountain and the cliff, there are pink, purple, big flower, fine flower and rose red azaleas, presenting the gorgeous scenery of "hanging stone, hanging ten thousand flowers". Visitors can enjoy the pleasure of wandering in the flowers, having fun with butterflies and birds. That's the most beautiful time in qiancengfeng scenic area.

Then, go to another scenic spot "Wujun Tingxiu". From afar, five vigorous and straight giant pines have been bumped into the field of vision, and when you look closer, you feel that they are thick and erect. When you look down on your figure, you have another feeling. The proud five old pines are twining and dancing, like dragons and snakes, and the shade is like a cover, elegant and graceful. Each old pine has a round body, with two small people embracing each other, and three big people embracing each other, like a giant pillar. People here often say: "hold five old pines, never worry about poverty."

Then, when you return to the water playing area of the scenic spot and stand on the viewing platform, you can see a few towering peaks, which have the potential to lift the sky by themselves. At the foot of the peak is the Huanggang River, which originates from the forest of the famous Heishiding Nature Reserve. It flows through the peaks in twists and turns. The river is cool and the river bed is full of pebbles. It flows between the mountains and rivers, which makes people forget all the popular ideas. Then you can climb up the mountain road to the top of the three peaks. Standing on the top of the three peaks, you can look around at the mountains and overlook the cliffs at your feet. Naturally, you will think of the famous saying "infinite scenery lies in the dangerous peaks". Further down, you can reach the stone terrace Tianquan and yixiantian. The stone terrace is narrow and short, and it is located on the precipice. On the top, there is a steep rock layer connecting with the rock. On the other side, it faces the magic cliff Jue valley. The forest below the valley is undulating and breathtaking. Beside the stone terrace, there is a Tianquan, and the spring water is cool and bright. Next to Tianquan is a line of sky. It's a narrow hill with two mountains. It's about one meter wide and only allows one person to climb. From the bottom up, you can see a line of white sky at the top. From the top down, there's another thrilling scene.

The Heavenly Southern Gate

Nantianmen is another scene, we seem to have entered Tao Yuanming's "paradise". I can only see the beautiful birds and flowers, green mountains and green waters, blue sky and sky. Occasionally, I can see the elegant path stretching out from the green and then drilling back to the green. Only then can I realize that I just felt its beauty but not its rhyme. At this moment, I feel that there is still a leisurely, free and uninhibited, leisurely cloud crane dance charm here.

Through the South Gate of heaven, along the quiet path: through the forest, through the depression, also urgent and slow, straight to Luo: Tuoshan Yuxi peak. Camel mountain looks very much like a giant camel lying on the Huanggang River to absorb water, so it is called "camel drinking water." As for Yuxi peak, it is a peak in Camel Mountain, which is named after the emperor's Yuxi. There are few flowers and plants on the top of Yuxi peak. The rock surface is smooth and flat. The rocks on the mountain are flying in the air. It's amazing. Standing on it, you can't help but feel broad-minded. You can't help sighing that "I'm the peak on the top of the Mountain"!

Qiancengfeng scenic area attracts many tourists because of its rich tourism resources such as Qifeng, Xiushui, Linhai, etc., and attracts many literati to watch. For example, Mr. Qin Hansheng, a famous poet and calligrapher in our province, visited gancengfeng scenic area for six times. The Pearl River Film Studio has made two films here, namely "the strange feeling of sword" and "the soul of China". Recently, Hong Kong Emerald TV station has made many episodes of TV series "journey to the west" in this scenic spot.

The development and construction of qiancengfeng scenic spot has not only received the strong support of the county Party committee and government, but also received the attention of many provincial and municipal leaders. Li Ren, chief director of the planning and Statistics Department of the National Tourism Administration, LV Weixiong, director of the provincial tourism administration, and Party and government leaders at all levels of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City and Zhaoqing City have visited the scenic spot and put forward many valuable opinions on the development and construction of the scenic spot. Fengkai strives to build provincial scenic spots into national scenic spots within three to five years.

Travel recommendation

Route one

1. At 8:00 in the morning, set out at the main entrance of the martyrs' cemetery, take a bus to Fengkai, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Xijiang River along the way;

2. At noon, you can have a meal near Fengkai county (including the local famous apricot chicken);

3. After dinner, take a bus to the first rock in the world: dapanshi (at your own expense), climb the rock or have thrilling rock climbing activities;

2. After lunch, you can continue to visit the ancient village or go to Panlong gorge ecotourism scenic spot, which is known as "the most beautiful place in Guangdong Province" (at your own expense);

4. Return to Guangzhou at 16:00

Guangzhou - Fengkai: from Guangzhou West Ring Expressway to 321 national road via zengjiao interchange, it's about 317 km to Fengkai, about 3 hours' drive.
