History and culture
On the banks of the Aoluguya River in the northernmost part of Genhe City, Hulun League, Inner Mongolia, and in the Mangui forest region in the depth of the Great Xing'an Mountains, there is a oldest and most mysterious ethnic group, the Aoluguya Ewenki. According to the research of historians, the Ewenki nationality has three branches: Sauron, Tungus and Yakut. Among them, the Sauron are farming tribes, and the Tungus are nomadic tribes,
Today, most of the two Ewenki live in the Ewenki Autonomous Banner on the Hulunbuir grassland. Only Yakut people have been living in the dense forest of Daxing'anling mountains, living by hunting and raising reindeer, becoming the last hunting tribe in China, known as "the last hunting tribe in China" and "the only deer making tribe in China". It is famous at home and abroad for its simple folk customs, folk customs and mysterious "reindeer culture".
Aoluguya township is located in the cold Arctic Circle, about 100 kilometers away from Mohe County, the northernmost part of China. It is located in the Mangui forest region in the depth of Daxing'an Mountains. The climate here is very cold, and the long-term primitive closed state makes them retain the original national culture. They believed in Shamanism, worshipped tree gods and made daily utensils from birch bark.
They would rather go far away to carry back dead trees for firewood than cut down a living tree. "Aoluguya" is an Ewenki language, which means "a place where poplar trees flourish". Three hundred years ago, they came from farther north Siberia. They have been hunting and raising reindeer for generations and have their own traditional way of life.
There are nearly 500 people living in Aoxiang, including 230 Ewenki. They are the third generation of hunters since they settled down. There are four hunting sites, where there are more than 30 old hunters who are used to hunting and raising reindeer in the mountains. The tourism group will invest in the construction of the pan Arctic Circle Museum, reindeer Park, Christmas Park, hunter experience Park, folk commercial street, etc. on the basis of preserving the original ecology, so that everything here can be handed down for a long time, so that we can have a chance to touch
