Leizu temple is built in memory of Chen Wenyu, the first governor of Leizhou. In ancient times, it was called "Leigang towering".

Sanyuan pagoda, formerly known as Qixiu pagoda, is one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Leiyang. Leizhou West Lake was originally named Luohu.
