history

It was originally one of the ancient "eight sceneries of Xuyang" in Xuwen County. Now it belongs to Leizhou City, Guangdong Province (formerly Haikang county).

According to the records of Xuwen County annals by Xuantong of Qing Dynasty, it is also called Jianshan mountain. It is more than 30 kilometers north of Xuwen County. Now the administrative jurisdiction has been assigned to Leizhou City in the 1960s. Yingfengling is named "Yingfeng" because its peak looks like an eagle perching on its head. The mountains are high and steep, with ancient banyan trees and ancient caves on the top. The ancients called it "Yingfeng pecking the moon", which was once the first scenic spot in Xuwen County.
