Located in the west of Ningxiang and at the junction of Ningxiang County, Taojiang County and Anhua County, the scenic spot includes towns and units such as Qishan, Huangcai, xiangzikou, Shatian and Huangcai reservoir. The planned area of the scenic spot is 190 square kilometers, with a population of 158000. The scenic spot is about 80 kilometers away from Ningxiang County and 150 kilometers away from Changsha City. It is a comprehensive tourist attraction integrating Buddha worship, vacation, leisure and exploration. It is divided into four major scenic spots, namely, Mount Jishan Buddhist culture area, Qingyang lake water recreation area, Huangcai bronze culture area and thousand Buddha cave sightseeing area

Miyin Temple

With a total area of 2000 mu, miyin scenic spot is a holy land of Buddhism with "miyin Temple" as the main temple and "Guanyin statue of great mercy" as the main Buddha. It became a national AAAA scenic spot in 2012

. Founded in 807 ad, it has a history of 1200 years. Miyin temple has a large scale and extraordinary bearing. 12988 gilded Buddha statues are embedded in the four walls of the main hall, which is a wonder of Buddhist temples in the world, so it is called "ten thousand Buddha Hall". Miyin temple is surrounded by mountains and water, with extraordinary scenery. There are 36 sceneries of Mount Jishan, such as huixinqiao, laimujing, longwangjing, baiguohantan, etc. Miyin temple is the ancestral hall of Jiyang sect, one of the five schools of Zen in China. Qingyang Lake

Huangcai reservoir (Qingyang Lake), one of the three earth dam projects in China, has a water area of more than 10000 mu, a storage capacity of 150 million cubic meters, and 12000 mu of original ecological secondary forest. The spectacular scene of "gaoxiaping Lake" is like a beautiful picture.

Thousand Buddha Cave (mysterious dissolving Buddha, the most beautiful tourist cave in China)

It is said that the thousand Buddha cave is composed of thirteen caves, also known as "Thirteen caves". History of scenic spots

It was established in 2005. In February 2007, it was approved as a provincial scenic spot by Hunan Provincial People's government. On October 31, 2012, the State Council issued a notice on the list of the eighth batch of national scenic spots, and Sheshan scenic spot was approved as "national scenic spot".
