Chengji cultural city is located in the center of Jingning County. It is a cultural infrastructure built for the development and utilization of Chengji cultural resources. It is one of the important cultural infrastructure and tourist attractions in Jingning County. Now it is a national AAA tourist attraction. Chengji cultural city is designed by Ren Zhenying, a famous Chinese engineering designer, Zuo Guobao, a senior architect and other experts. The whole building has a distinctive Qin and Han style and grand momentum, covering an area of 66 mu, with a construction area of 18000 square meters and a total investment of 26 million yuan. The main buildings are Fuxi memorial hall, cultural center, library, archives, Cultural Bureau, Tourism Bureau, Bagua altar and Stone Gallery. The whole building is of Qin and Han architectural style, tall and grand, simple and elegant, rich in connotation.

Chengji ancient city is located in the ancient Chengji ancient city site of zhipingchuan in the south of Jingning County. It is the location of "zhipingchengji" in Chinese historical records. It was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit by the provincial government in 1993.

Chengji is the ancient place name of Jingning. Jingning is the birthplace of Fuxi, the "ancestor of human history". In order to develop and utilize Chengji cultural resources and strengthen cultural infrastructure, in 1996, the famous Chinese engineering designer Ren Zhenying and senior architect Zuo Zhongbao were invited to design the construction plan. The overall building is of Qin and Han Dynasty style, grand momentum, simple and elegant.

Travel

The foundation was laid in October 1997. After more than two years of intensive construction, the Fuxi memorial hall, cultural center, library, museum, archives, Cultural Bureau, Tourism Bureau, Archives Bureau and other major buildings were built. In 2001, while doing a good job in greening and beautifying, the eight trigrams altar, wall, stele gallery and south gate were built, and the overall construction plan of Chengji cultural city was completed at the end of October that year. And has successfully held the "first Chengji Cultural Festival and fruit trade fair" and a series of business and cultural activities. The successful construction of Chengji cultural city has practiced the concept of "poor county running big culture and promoting big development". It has become a landmark building of the county and provides an ideal carrier for the research and development of Chengji culture.

Chengji is the ancient place name of Jingning. Based on the hometown of Chengji, Fuxi took a broad view of the Yellow River, painted eight trigrams, explained people's doubts, founded a country, established official system, established a family name, married, made Li PI, made nets, promoted music, and promoted Jiali, which opened up the Chinese civilization. Inside the hall of Fuxi, there is a bronze statue of Fuxi, painted with a picture of the river on the top, carved with a picture of the holy mark of Fuxi on the wall, displaying nine tripods, eight tripods and other ritual vessels. It is a sacred place for Chinese at home and abroad to remember the past and worship their ancestors.
