The tourism tulugou National Forest Park in Yongdeng County, Lanzhou, Gansu Province is located in the hinterland of Liancheng forest region, Yongdeng County, Gansu Province. It is 160 kilometers away from the provincial capital Lanzhou City and Xining City, Qinghai Province. It is the eastern foot of the Qilian Mountains, with a total area of 5848.4 hectares, a forest coverage rate of 79.2%, and an altitude of 1998-3165 meters.

Tulu Valley is named "Tulu Valley" because of its strange peaks, strange rocks, green trees and evergreen all the year round. The landscape here is unique and beautiful. The vertical distribution of vegetation is very obvious. At the top is rich grassland, vast pasture, standing trees on the hillside, and farmland at the foot of the mountain. The landscape of the park is rugged and rugged, which can fully appreciate the natural scenery. It is known as the "mythical Green Valley".

"Tulu" is an ancient Mongolian language, which means "big, good", or "beautiful orchard". Tulugou used to be a multi-ethnic area. Influenced by the mountain climate and abundant rainfall, it has become an original natural scenic spot without artificial carving. In the area, Tulu River, which originates from ebofeng, flows from northwest to Southeast and joins at Sancha. Then it flows into Datong River through Qiangou. A highway is built along the river valley, which leads to the ditch directly. The two sides of the river have different scenes.

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the medical workers who are struggling in the front line of anti epidemic, the scenic spot will be open to all medical workers in the country free of charge until the end of 2020.

The annual average temperature is 9.3 ℃, and the annual temperature difference and daily temperature difference are relatively large.

There are more than 1600 species of plants in tulugou National Forest Park, including 122 families and 1614 species of seed plants. Among them, there are 103 species of arbors, 261 species of shrubs and 1250 species of herbs, which are rich in willow flowers, Capricorn, staghorn vegetables, mushrooms and ferns. There are star leaf grass, peach seven, clove, astragalus, Cistanche and other national rare and endangered plants. Willow flower, staghorn, mushroom and fern growing in the scenic spot are called "four mountain treasures" on the dining table.

In tulugou National Forest Park, there are dozens of rare animals, such as musk deer, running deer, blue eared pheasant, lynx and stone sheep, among which blue eared pheasant and musk deer belong to class II national protected animals.

Tulugou National Forest Park can be divided into five scenic spots: former tulugou forest scenic spot, Sancha tourist village, big tulugou Landform Scenic Spot, small tulugou forest scenic spot and tulugouzhang grassland recreation area. There are more than 20 major scenic spots, such as skylight eye, Canglong cave, half moon sky, light pole stone, hump ridge, three peaks competition show, Yougu Qinyin, Shibi Xiezhu, Tongtian gate, Baige hall, practice platform, forest sea lion, Green Toad waterfall, etc.

In 1984, the people's Government of Lanzhou approved the site as a tourist spot in the west of Lanzhou.

In 1987, it was designated as a forest park.

In September 1992, the park was approved as a national forest park by the Ministry of forestry.

It is 160 kilometers away from the provincial capital Lanzhou City and Xining city of Qinghai Province. Tourists take a bus from Lanzhou West bus station to Yaojie street, and then go to tulugou directly by looking for a local private minivan. You can also take the bus to Liancheng at Lanzhou West bus station, and then back in Liancheng and go directly to tulugou.

Route

Visitors cross the Datong River Bridge and enter the former tulugou forest scenic spot. Six kilometers from Daqiao to Sancha tourist village, it is divided into two gullies, big and small. On the left side is datulugou, with a total length of 14.7 kilometers. It is the main scenic spot of the park with peculiar landform and scenery. There are 24 scenic spots in total, including peaks, mountains, cliffs and rocks. There are various forms, cliffs and waterfalls, and cliffs and beads. Although they are made by nature, they are like human beings. Further up, you will arrive at gouzhang grassland, which is a charming grassland tourist area. From the right of Sancha, you enter the xiaotulugou forest area.
