Kong Mingbei
There is a smooth white concave stone wall on the cliff near the Yangtze River under Jixian peak in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. It looks like a huge stone tablet. It is said that there was Zhuge Liang's inscription on it, so it is called Kongming tablet.
It is said that on the way to Sichuan, Zhuge Liang led his master to pass through Wuxia, and then engraved his important strategy theory "Longzhong Dui" on the steep wall, saying that he wanted to unite Wu and reject Wei. Later, during the battle of the Yiling Mausoleum of Wu and Shu, general Lu Xun of the eastern Wu pursued the Shu army. At this point, he read Zhuge Liang's inscription and was deeply moved, so he ordered to withdraw.
In fact, the stele of Kongming is not the title of Zhuge Liang. The inscription is not "Longzhongdui". The inscriptions of the past dynasties on the stele, due to the long time, weathered rocks and clear handwriting, are few. Now we can only see 15 characters, among which six characters are the most eye-catching. It is said that it was written by Zhuge Liang, so it is called "Kongming stele", which is a famous historic site in Wuxia.
With the construction of the Three Gorges project, Kongming monument, which is under the submergence line, will move to other places.
