Shinaihai temple, also known as "garila Temple", is located in garila village, shinaihai Township, Gonghe County, Qinghai Province, on the southwest Bank of Qinghai Lake, more than 100 meters away from Qinghai Lake. It's a Tibetan Buddhist temple.

Also known as "garila Temple", it is located 111 km northwest of qiabuqia Town, 2 km south of shinaihai Township, in garila village, shinaihai Township, Gonghe County, Qinghai Province, and on the southwest Bank of Qinghai Lake. Shinaihai temple is located beside Quanwan, only a hundred meters away from Qinghai Lake.

The main hall of shinaihai temple is made of stone, which is very similar to the Tibetan Architecture in Qingnan and Northwest Sichuan. Mani palace is also a big landscape here. Mani's turning palace is half buried in the ground. Living here, turning the huge Sutra wheel, there is a sense of seclusion.

Shinaihai temple is close to Qinghai Lake, where the grassland is luxuriant, the spring is everywhere, and the wetland landscape is very typical. In midsummer, you can have a panoramic view of the green grass mountains and the blue lake. In the middle of winter, the frozen Qinghai Lake is crystal clear, and a large group of swans take off and land here. The scene is extremely beautiful and spectacular.

The original site of shinaihai temple is located in quzou, which is now the place of nihoumai 9 km west of shinaihai township. In the 1930s, the leader of tiebujia temple, lawahuangke, was at odds with the monk acheowa. Acheowa led some monks to leave tiebujia temple and built shinaihai temple at quzou place in 1933 (1945). Acheowa is the master of the temple, but there has been no living Buddha, belonging to Hualong Zhizha temple. In 1956, there were 32 monks in 12 families, 6 halls and 10 monasteries. There were 45 horses, 301 cattle and 105 sheep in the temple. After 1958, it was demolished and approved to open in 1984. It was moved to the current site and rebuilt 1 Sutra hall with 12 rooms and 9 monk houses. At present, there are 47 monks (including 33 Wande), 20 horses, 130 cattle and more than 40 mu of forest. It is said that the renovation project of the temple is mainly donated by Tibetans, about 120000 yuan. Because of their faith, Tibetans will donate all their money to the temple after they have accumulated some wealth.

Shinaihai temple is located 2 kilometers south of shinaihai township. At the long distance bus station of Xining City, there is a direct bus to shinaihai township at 9:45 every day. The whole journey takes about 4-5 hours and the ticket price is 48 yuan. Shinaihai township is 30km away from bird island, and you can also charter a car from bird island. The cost is about 100 yuan / car.
