Wulihu Ecological Wetland Park

Wulihu ecological wetland is a national AAAA tourist attraction. The scenic spot is located in the west of Yingshang County. It starts from Sanchagou in the north and ends at malihe brick bridge in the south. The total length of the planned scenic spot is 9.8 km, the planned area is 6 square kilometers, and the total investment is 500 million yuan. According to the landform of Wulihu Lake, it is divided into three parts: Urban Forest in the north, impression water town in the middle, wetland paradise in the South and six landscape nodes.

Development and construction

From north to south, the project is composed of Urban Forest Park, Yingbin Park, Youjia garden and former residence, folk exhibition hall, cultural center, stadium area, low-carbon reception center and wetland bird island. After the completion of the project, the balihe scenic spot will be integrated with the urban area of Yingshang County, which is a comprehensive project integrating urban flood control, municipal roads and landscape tourism. It has become the main tourism, sightseeing and rest area of Yingshang County along the central area of S102 axis, and actively declared to create a national 4A scenic spot.

Main attractions

Wulihu ecological wetland is a comprehensive project integrating urban flood control and municipal landscape on the basis of balihe West Avenue, Yingshang urban flood control project. The park covers an area of 250 hectares, with a total length of 9.8 km, starting from the new 102 provincial road in the north and reaching balihe scenic spot in the south.

The project is composed of three parts, including urban forest in the north section, impression water town in the middle section, wetland paradise in the south section and six landscape nodes.

The project is planned to be implemented in three phases. The north section of urban forest (north outer ring to old 102 provincial road) in phase I is 15000 meters long. The project includes leisure club, waterfront wooden plank road, garden stone path, tall landscape tree array, low landscape plants, landscape stone, landscape lamp, lawn lamp, hydrophilic platform, etc. The main trees are Ginkgo biloba, Cinnamomum camphora, Celtis sinensis, Gleditsia sinensis, chongyangmu, Cedrus deodara, bamboo, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, etc. In spring, Magnolia blooms and cherry blossoms bloom in the second place; in summer, lotus fragrance; in autumn, hawthorn and persimmon fruit are hanging, with the fragrance of ten mile osmanthus; in winter, Chimonanthus is proud of snow, and pine is tall and straight. In addition, it reproduces one of the eight ancient scenes in Ying: "lotus pond moon night". In summer, the lotus flowers open to the moon, the breeze slowly comes, the water waves are not happy, the water surface is hazy, just like a lotus Wonderland, which makes people forget to return. This section of the scenic spot is featured by secluded forests, winding paths, colorful flowers, clear water and beautiful rocks, and ingenious layout of corridors, pavilions, bridges and bamboo gardens. It not only fully protects the existing wetlands, but also injects functional modules to enrich the waterfront city interface, making it a blue wetland chain on the west side of Yingcheng and a green landscape belt running through the city boundary.

The second phase project "wetland paradise" is under construction. This section makes full use of the low-lying land between the old embankment and the new embankment of Wulihu Lake to re integrate the water system and form multiple islands of different sizes and shapes according to local conditions. After completion, it will not only have the function of urban flood control, but also have the function of alleviating the traffic pressure in the city, urban landscape and other functions, which is also a solid foundation for improving the local tourism county. )

The third phase of the project is "impression hometown". The key area is wetland paradise area.

After the completion of Wulihu ecological wetland project, balihe scenic area will be integrated with the urban area of Yingshang County, which will become the main tourism, sightseeing and leisure area of Yingshang County along the 102 central axis of provincial road, and actively declare to create a national 4A scenic spot.

Wulihu ecological wetland fully protects the existing wetland and injects functional modules to enrich the waterfront city interface, making it a green wetland chain on the west boundary of Yingcheng and a green landscape belt running through the city boundary. Yingshang has become one of the main tourist attractions following balihe 5A scenic spot, digou Ecological Wetland Park, XIAOZHANGZHUANG, one of the world's top five environmental protection scenic spots, Youjia garden, Guanzhong square (Guanbao Temple), m water system garden in new urban area, Ganluo tomb, Qixian tomb in bamboo forest, Shuangji tea culture and other tourist attractions. It has become a new place for leisure, entertainment and sightseeing for the general public.
