Zhuwang Village

Zhuwang village belongs to caijiaqiao Town, Jingde County, Anhui Province. Its geographical coordinates are 118 ° 48'e and 30 ° 35'n, covering an area of 12 square kilometers. Zhuwang village is an ancient village built more than 1300 years ago. It is one of the five ancient civilized villages in Jingde County. In history, the houses here are all Hui style buildings. It has profound cultural heritage, long human history and unique architectural landscape. It is said that it is the residence of the descendants of Zhu Xi, a famous scholar in Song Dynasty. There are 47 preserved ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The layout of residential buildings is reasonable and unique, with a typical Hui style. There are also well preserved private schools - "Fushan academy" and "tea shop" old pawnshop. Located in Zhuwang village, Zhuxi River was excavated manually by Zhu's ancestors at that time, showing a unique style There are nine wells used for drinking by the river. There are thirteen stone bridges built of huge bluestones on the river. The nine wells and the thirteen bridges are called "nine wells and thirteen bridges". According to the legend of the elders in Zhuwang village, there are nine Jinshi in Zhuwang village and thirteen dynasties in Zhuwang village. "Xianyuntan" in the upper reaches of Zhuxi River is one of the brothers of Zhuwang village in Ming Dynasty, Zhu zedan and Zhu Zebo. Zhu zedan accompanied the moon to study. The four characters of "xianyuntanying" written in his own handwriting on the cliffs are clearly recognizable, and the ruins of the ancient stage near the pool can be seen. "Longtan waterfall", a cloth three fold; "Guanyin Temple" and "Longwang Temple" repose the ancients' hope for the prosperity of their offspring and good weather.

History and culture

Zhuwang village was built in the late Sui Dynasty and early Tang Dynasty (610-630 A.D.), mainly with the surnames of Zhu, Wang, Fang, Lu, Zhong and Liu. Most of the surnames are Zhu, who is the descendant of Zhu Xi (1130-1200), a neo Confucianist of the Southern Song Dynasty. All the buildings in the village are of Hui style, with green bricks, black tiles and horse head walls. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were 2 ancestral halls, 4 temples of land, Guanyin and Prince, 2 chastity archways, and famous business names such as "Caizi", "Qianyuan" and "Xinglong".

During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Zhuwang village flourished with towering stone squares, towering ancestral temples, incense filled temples, ancient music on stage, merchants and shops. It was not until the Republic of China that Zhu Wang gradually declined. According to legend, there is also a worship by a Feng Shui gentleman. It is said that the Zhu family has offended the Cai family. Because the Zhu family built a Caijia bridge on Huishui, the pig (Zhu) crossed the bridge and ate up all the vegetables (CAI), which led to the decline of the Cai family. In order to take this tone, the Cai family invited Mr. Feng Shui to bewitch them and dug an artificial river in the middle of Zhuwang village. Just think, pig (Zhu) opened a bore, still have life? Jiujing thirteen Bridge

There are many bridges in Zhuwang, which originate from two small rivers. A river through the village, said: Zhuxi River, a river around the village, said: Daxi river. The bridge across the Daxi river is called Xinqiao. There are 13 stone bridges on the Zhuxi River, and there are nine wells in the river. "Nine wells and thirteen bridges" have become a unique scenery of Zhuwang village. There are many explanations about "Jiujing thirteen bridges". Some say that Zhuwang village will produce nine Jinshi and emperors who will be in charge of the thirteen dynasties. Others say that they are from pigs (Zhu). Are they bones or acupoints? There is no way to know, and thirteen is a lucky number, there should be no doubt.

Three of the nine wells along the river are for private use, while the rest are for villagers' public drinking water. Although the wells live by the river or in the middle of the river, their water is clear all the year round, warm in winter and cool in summer. To be sure, the idiom "well water does not violate river water" comes from Zhuwang village.

Longtan waterfall

Longtan waterfall has three waterfalls, with different shapes and unique scenery in spring, summer, autumn and winter. The upper pool is rectangular, and the water gushes from the stone cave; the middle pool is round, with a huge stone covering half of the Longtan, and a waterfall of more than ten meters flying down. The water and stone strike each other, shaking people's heart and soul, which is spectacular; the lower pool is square, with the largest area, and is a natural swimming pool for swimmers.
