Bogdaqin, Uighur language means a grand and tall city. The site is about 12 kilometers southwest of Yanjia Hui Autonomous County, which is the largest site of the ancient city of Yanqi Basin. The plane is slightly rectangular, with a perimeter of 3000 meters and an area of about 6 square kilometers.. The city wall has been destroyed, the foundation of the wall still exists, 2-3 meters high, rammed. There are two ancient building sites in the city, exposed red square bricks.
