Kangjianyuan

Shanghai Kangjian park is located in Xuhui District, Shanghai, with an area of 95700 square meters. It ends at Liuzhou Road in the East, Guanshengyuan road in the south, Guilin road in the West and Caohejing port in the north. The park, formerly a private health park farm with the nature of amusement park, was founded in 1937 by Shanghai magician Bao qinxuan (stage name Ke Tianying). It was built on April 1, 1953 and opened to the outside world. In 1956, it was once known as "kangjianyuan farm" as a public-private joint venture. It was named "health garden" in 1958. In September 1984, the Municipal Science and Technology Association and the Municipal Bureau of landscape architecture reached an agreement to transform the park into a park with the main activities of publicizing and popularizing scientific knowledge, and set up a variety of amusement and entertainment projects in the park. It was renamed "Science Park" on May 4, 1985 and restored to its original name "health park" on January 1, 1990. After completion, the park was expanded twice in 1987 and 2000.

Landscape in the park

The garden adopts Japanese style architecture and garden style green layout, which is scattered along Fulei mountain, pavilions and pavilions. The park has pleasant scenery, beautiful scenery, boats rippling in the lake, lush mountains, stalagmites, peonies blooming, cherry blossoms blooming, hibiscus blooming, elegant and elegant, boating, riding around the mountain, and Japanese style cottages embellishing the park, adding a bit of elegance to the whole park. The flowers and trees in the garden are mainly hibiscus, cherry, peony and osmanthus. Michelia, Magnolia, crape myrtle, flowers bloom all the year round. The peony in the garden is growing well.

There is a big earth mountain in the north of the garden, which is more than 20 meters high and 250 meters long. It is made of excavated river channel and original soil. After 1956, some Huangshi, Taihu stone and stalagmites were added to the mountain. Trees are planted all around the mountain, and Panshan stone steps are paved in the East, West and south. On the top of the mountain, there are stalagmites, Taihu stones and stone benches, which are the best places to view from afar. To the east of the mountain, there is a hexagonal building and a game room. A Wisteria trellis is set in front of the room. Under the trellis, there are more than ten groups of stone tables and benches for visitors to rest.

The small river in the middle of the park is S-shaped, connecting to Caohejing port, with a water surface area of 8658 square meters. Revetment height is different, East and west each has a small island. The West Island used to be a small golf course, covering an area of 2.4 mu (1600 square meters). The island is full of flowers, plants and trees.

Furong hall in the south of Shandong Province is a Japanese style building with an area of 319 square meters. The hall is of brick and wood structure, with double eaves at four corners and flat tiles at the top. Two white stone lions are sitting in front of the hall. There are corridors on three sides of the hall, decorated with small round wood of different thickness. On the south side of the hall, there are precious flowers and trees such as peony and Euonymus japonicus. The waterside pavilion, about 20 meters south of Furong hall, is an empty, light, four sided building, with brick and wood structure, front porch columns and railings decorated with stone and cement. Facing the water, a platform is built in the south of the pavilion, which has a broad vision. Hetang village covers an area of 327 square meters, with the largest area of 83.1 square meters and the smallest area of 40.6 square meters. There are tall trees, gardenia, Canna and other shrubs around, red and green, and the building is interesting.

There is a 3000 square meter lawn in the south of the garden. There is a donkey riding fence in the southeast of the lawn. The South Gate of the pavilion leads to the lawn, and the north gate leads to the boating wharf.

In the southeast of the garden, there is a lotus pond with an area of 893 square meters, in which the cinnabar lotus and white lotus are planted. The west of the pool is connected with two small water lily pools. A rectangular Pavilion is built in the south of the lotus pool, covering an area of about 30 square meters. It is of wood structure and thatched roof. There are railings on both sides of the north and the south. There is a gate in the East and the West. The west gate leads to the donkey track, and the east gate leads to the garden road.

Entertainment facilities

There are many entertainment facilities in the park, such as "donkey riding", rowing, skating, video games and so on. Rowing is also an early open entertainment project. The garden river is tortuous, crossing the bridge through the hole, which is unique. Video game machines include happy animal game machine, space flying car, video game machine, scooter, etc.

Cultural Activity

Assist Guilin park to hold a series of activities of Shanghai osmanthus festival every autumn, including karaoke, video screening, masquerade dance, amateur art performance, sports model show, light show and consultation.
