Fangchuan is located in Jingxin Town, Hunchun City, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, 66 kilometers away from the urban area of Hunchun city. It is the only junction between China and North Korea and Russia. It is close to the river, sea, mountains and rivers. It is adjacent to the Russian town balde gornaya (Hassan) in the East and doumanjiang city across the river in the southwest. In the east of Fangchuan is Russia's border railway station, baldgonaya, and in the southwest it faces doumanjiang city of Korea across the Tumen River. The two cities of Russia and North Korea are connected by a railway bridge on the Tumen River, which is the only link connecting the land trade between Russia and North Korea.
From Fangchuan, it flows down the Tumen River and enters the sea of Japan by 15 km. The nearest place (in the direction of Russia) is about 10 km from the sea of Japan. It can become a "maritime Silk Road" for China to trade with Russia, Japan, Korean Peninsula and even northeast Asian countries and regions. From Fangchuan to the sea along the Tumen River, it is only 16 km to the port of boshet in Russia, 120 km away from Vladivostok.
Fangchuan village of Jingxin town is located at the foot of zhanggufeng. A few kilometers ahead, it is the "Tu" boundary monument supervised by Wu Dacheng, the imperial Minister of the Qing government, together with baranov, the representative of Czarist Russia, in 1886. It's only 15 kilometers from here to the mouth of Tumen River, overlooking the sea of Japan. When you climb the watchtower on the nearby hill, the misty sea of Japan in the distance connects with the sky; you can have a panoramic view of China, Korea and Russia nearby. On the left is the border city of baudegona of the Soviet Union, and on the right is the city of doumanjiang of Korea across the river. The soldiers and civilians in Fangchuan are proud to say that "we can see the landscape of the three frontiers and listen to the barking of the chickens and dogs in the Three Kingdoms".
history
Hunchun comes from Nuzhen language, which means "Bian Di", while Fangchuan means "Bian Di". In terms of geographical distance, it is the closest point between China and Russia, the east coast of North Korea, the west coast of Japan, North America and Northern Europe. From Fangchuan to the sea along the Tumen River, it is only 16 km to the port of boshet in Russia, 180 km to Vladivostok, and only 800 km to the port of Niigata in Japan.
It is in such a special geographical location that Fangchuan has witnessed too much prosperity and humiliation, and recorded too much vicissitudes and hardships in the wind and rain of history.
According to historical records, in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Fangchuan was the world-famous "Japan road Maritime Silk Road". The economic culture and folk religion of Tang Dynasty spread to Japan, which promoted the economic and cultural exchanges and friendship between the two countries. In the late 16th century, tsarist Russia crossed the Ural Mountains and invaded the Heilongjiang Basin, which was defeated by the Qing army. After that, the two countries formally signed the first border treaty, the Treaty of nebuchu. In the middle of the 18th century, when the British and French allied forces launched the second Opium War, tsarist Russia also took advantage of the fire and sent troops again to occupy a large area of land in the Heilongjiang River Basin, forced the Qing government to sign the Sino Russian Treaty of Huihui, which was humiliating and humiliating, and then forced the Qing government to sign the Sino Russian Treaty of Beijing. These two treaties plundered more than 1 million square kilometers of land north of Heilongjiang, south of outer Xing'an Mountains and east of Wusuli River, including Kuye Island, and cut off China's territorial sea, making Jilin a province closest to the sea but without sea area.
The closest to the sea, but inland, this is the tragedy of history. Under the watchtower stands a "earthen plate". It is one of the boundary markers between China and Russia, and also the starting point of the Sino Russian border. In 1886, the Qing government sent Wu Dacheng, the left Deputy censor of the capital inspection court, to negotiate with Russia and set up this "local character card". "Tu Zi Pai" is 1.44 meters high, 0.5 meters wide and 0.22 meters thick, and its texture is granite. On the side facing China, three big characters "Tu Zi Pai" are engraved in the middle, and on the left, the words "Li in April of the 12th year of Guangxu" are engraved. The Russian side is engraved with the word "t" in Russian. "Tu Zi Pai" has few characters, but the history of the rise and fall of the Chinese nation is deeply engraved in it. According to folklore, after Wu Dacheng negotiated with Russia at that time, several Qing soldiers who were in charge of erecting the boundary monument were drunk (it was said that they were addicted to opium) and carried the boundary monument to Fangchuan, so they didn't bother to move forward. In this way, although the East China Sea is close at hand, the boundary stone blocks our way out. What is left to us today is not only the bitterness of the decadent system of the Qing government, but also the helplessness of admiration.
Facing Fangchuan, looking at the landscape of the Three Kingdoms, and looking at the history, no one can help feeling a lot. After more than a century of ups and downs, is "tuzipai" still talking about its natural humiliation and sadness? There is no way out for closure, and if it is backward, it will be beaten. A country's prosperity is inseparable from the development of economy, and even more inseparable from the consolidation of national defense.
Fangchuan watchtower is a sentinel here, known as "the first sentinel in the East". I saw a soldier standing tall and straight with a steel gun on his shoulder. His eyes were shining around him. It was hard for him to escape. The observation tower is also equipped with telescopes, which can clearly see the landscape several miles away. From the watchtower down, looking up at the eight characters written on the tower: "the interests of the motherland above all.".
Main attractions
Lianhua Lake Park
The water surface area of Lianhua Lake is 480000 square meters, the width of the eastern system is 480 meters, and the longest part from the north to the South can reach 1000 meters. The water is clear. In the East, it is surrounded by mountains and forests on three sides. Every year, lotus grows in the pool. Local residents often come to pick lotus, which is a wonder.
In the middle of August every year, the red, white and pink lotus on the surface of the lake are shining brightly, shining brightly in the eyes, and covered with green waves. The blue, green and bright red constitute the main color of this fresh, clean and beautiful landscape painting. The lotus flowers are budding or smiling to welcome the guests. The breeze is gentle and fragrant. There are wild ducks, seabirds, red crowned cranes and egrets playing with each other. The lotus here, also known as "Tumen River Red Lotus", has become a research base of wild lotus in China.
Yangguanping embankment
From Hunchun to Fangchuan, there is a narrow section of road, which is called yangguanping embankment. In fact, the road is the embankment of Tumen River. To the south of the road is Tumen River, and the bank is blocked by barbed wire. Under the roadbed of the highway on the north side of the land, another wire mesh goes with the highway. On the other side of the barbed wire is Russian territory. When you drive by, you can see the sign "no climbing across the border" on the barbed wire.
In history, Fangchuan was once isolated. There were only two "narrow areas" between the overseas and the mainland. In 1957, the narrowest yangguanping section was thrust by the Tumen River, and Chinese citizens borrowed the territory of the former Soviet Union for a long time to get in and out of the area, so Fangchuan area became an "enclave" of China. On August 8, 1983, yangguanping dike road, which was filled with bluestone in Tumen River, was opened to traffic. Only then did this "enclave" have its own channel. In 1992, the government invested in the construction of yangguanping levee, which completely solved the traffic difficulties.
Yangguanping embankment is 888m long and 8m wide. There are two stone tablets of "Fangchuan scenic area" and "United Nations World Park" at the beginning of the north side of the levee. Among them, the United Nations World Park, initiated by Professor Cui Minzi of South Korea, aims to strengthen economic and cultural cooperation among countries in Northeast Asia. It is a world park across China, Russia and North Korea.
