In the 17th century, it was founded by zhareraona (the inheritance of Tangdong jiebu, a monk of zhubagagu sect, and a Gedong native of langjiaer county). The temple, which faces east and West, is about 100 meters high and 4450 meters above sea level. The main hall is 6 meters long and 6 meters wide, with four columns.
The fourth generation of living Buddha gusanbaima zhandui duojiqiang was appointed as the Kanbu of duojizha temple in Gongga county. After that, it was converted to Ningma sect, repaired and expanded, and became the subordinate Temple of duojizha temple. In 1958, the temple was repaired and destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution". It was restored in 1984.
