Songfengshan nature reserve is located in Acheng District, Harbin City, central Heilongjiang Province. In 1984, the provincial government approved the establishment of a nature reserve to protect natural secondary forests, historic sites and landscapes, covering an area of 1465 hectares. SONGFENG mountain is the holy land of Taoism in the Jin and Qing Dynasties. In the Qing Dynasty, it was known as the first landscape of the eight famous mountains in Northeast China. Yantonglazi, the main peak of SONGFENG mountain, is 627 meters above sea level. The famous shijingfeng in SONGFENG mountain has two ancient temples, Haiyun temple and Sutra collection building, which were built in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty.

Development history

Songfengshan nature reserve is located in Acheng District, 45 kilometers south of Harbin City in the middle of Heilongjiang Province. In 1984, the provincial government approved the establishment of a nature reserve to protect natural secondary forests, historic sites and landscapes, covering an area of 1465 hectares. Jinyuan Rufeng

SONGFENG mountain is 627 meters above sea level. It is composed of the main peak Yantong peak and the different shapes of nipple peak, shizhangzui peak, Qipan peak and Shijing peak. The main peak, commonly known as yantonglazi, is steep and precipitous, and its branches are like double breasts. It has been called Jinyuan Rufeng since ancient times.

On the hillside of the southern foot of SONGFENG mountain, is the "Taixu cave" of Rufeng mountain in Jinyuan, which is listed in the dictionary of Chinese scenic spots. The two steles engraved in the fourth year of Cheng'an in Jin Dynasty (1199) and the third year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty (1911) in the cave are precious materials for studying Taoism in Jin Dynasty and Qing Dynasty. In the northwest of Haiyun temple, the "worship platform" is the place where Taoists worship the stars. Baidoutai, Shijing, Weiqi board, Shibao, ancient tombs and other relics still exist. Taoist sites have been listed as cultural relics protection units in Heilongjiang Province.

Taixu cave

The five peaks of the north mountain stand side by side, and there are many strange rocks. The mountain is rich in forest and grass. There are many protruding peaks on the top of the mountain. Under the beautiful shijingfeng, there are two ancient temples of Taoism in the Qing dynasty built in the Jiaqing period, namely Haiyun temple and Sutra collection building. In addition, there are also monuments such as baitoutai, shanquanjing, Shibao, laodaoguan and the go board played by Taoists at that time. There are natural caves on the hillside, in which there are inscriptions of "Taixu cave in SONGFENG mountain" and some stone tablets.

SONGFENG mountain is a summer resort and hunting garden for the royal family of Jin Dynasty. Up to now, there are still some remains of Taoist Cao's stele, platform for worshipping the bucket, stone carved go board and Taixu ancient cave in Jinyuan.
