Diehongqiao scenic spot

Located 5 kilometers southeast of Jiuxiang street, covering an area of about 5 square kilometers. It has been built and opened to the outside world. It is mainly characterized by magnificent, dangerous and beautiful scenery. There are seven unique scenic spots.

Only 200 meters away from the gate, a zhangkoudong site was discovered in July 1989. The excavation was carried out in September 1990. On the excavation surface of 51 square meters, 346 specimens were unearthed, including 41 human teeth and more than 2000 Paleolithic artifacts, including a large number of stone cores, anvil, hammer and flakes. Stone tools have a high rate of finished products and are well made. There are choppers, scrapers and so on. Several first multi pit stone tools have been found in China. There are more than 20 species of mammals, including Oriental Saber Toothed elephant, giant panda, Chinese rhinoceros, ape, monkey, tiger, leopard, badger, ox, sheep, pig, deer, muntjac, tapir, horse, rabbit and mouse, as well as birds, fish and invertebrate fossils. There are so many human teeth, so many stone tools, and so many animal fossils, which are rare in the whole province.

The excavation of zhangkoudong site shows that there was a unique regional culture of Paleolithic age in Jiuxiang. The representative object is duokeng stone tools, which greatly deepen people's understanding of the Paleolithic culture in southern China. For further study of the Paleolithic culture in Panjiang River Basin in lunanan, which has been discovered in the 1960s and is still pending The problem of ownership provides a large number of valuable information, which has great archaeological value.

The water of Baiyun Lake is very clear. There are two small islands in the lake, which are called "Penglai" and "Yingzhou". On the isolated hill outside the Naigu stone forest, there are many weathered stone pillars, some like war horses, some like blockhouses, so this stone forest is called the ancient battlefield.

It was founded when the monks of Baolin temple in Caoxi province came to Yunnan to spread the Zen doctrine of "insight into Buddha". So it is called Caoxi temple. It has a history of eight or nine hundred years. The main hall of Caoxi temple was built in Dali of Song Dynasty. This kind of wooden hall is rare in China. The statues of Guanyin, Manjusri and Puxian are rare in Song Dynasty. There is an ancient plum and an ancient youtan in Caoxi temple, both of which have a history of more than 700 years. Ancient plum is the oldest of 11 existing ancient plum trees in China. The most distinctive feature is that there is a round hole with a diameter of 30 cm under the front eaves of the main hall. On the night of the Mid Autumn Festival in the year of Jiazi, the bright moon rises eastward. The moon shines directly from the small window on the forehead of the statue of Sakyamuni, and then goes straight down to the navel along the bridge of the nose. It is known as "Tianhan Baoyue" or "Caoxi Yinyue". It reflects the achievements of the combination of architecture and astronomy in ancient China. In the temple, there is a stele of rebuilding Caoxi temple, which was published in 1533. It is praised as "three unique steles" by later generations and has high ornamental value. The first is the elegant demeanour of the inscription written by Yang Shen; the second is the beautiful scenery described in the inscription; the third is the font of Li Yong, a famous calligrapher of Tang Dynasty, copied by Xiao elixir. It is said that after touching this tablet, there will be a pepper smell on the hand, so the local people call it "Pepper tablet". One kilometer to the south of Caoxi temple, there is a small blue pool among the green pines and cypresses. At the bottom of the pool, water bubbles like pearls constantly emerge and slowly float to the surface of the water, so it is called pearl spring. Visitors like to coin it, which is full of fun. Surrounded by ancient trees, the sky is quiet, which is a good place to visit. 7.5km away from the hot spring, there is the first Phoebe garden in China. Its main building, chunhuaqiuyue hall, was built of Phoebe and opened at the end of 1991. Its pavilions, promenades, lakes, rockeries, bamboo and wood are exquisitely arranged, showing the artistic charm of the combination of North and south.

Anning hot spring

It is 38 kilometers away from Kunming city. It is located at the foot of Yuquan mountain and the Bank of Mantis River in Anning City. It is a famous tourist resort in Kunming.
