Xiaojiang River is a tributary on the South Bank of Jinsha River, with a total length of 138.2km, a valley bottom width of 15-50m, steep cliffs on both banks, a relative height difference of 1000-2000m, and a flow drop of 909m. Because of the loose rock structure on both sides of the river and the sparse vegetation on both sides of the river valley, it is easy to form large-scale debris flow here. Xiaojiang debris flow has developed for more than 300 years. Now there are 113 debris flow gullies, especially in Jiangjia gully. There are 178 large and small impact gullies. Xiaojiang debris flow is a rare natural spectacle in the world with frequent, large scale, complete types and intact impact fans. The frequent and frequent impact of debris flow has formed unique roads such as Gobi, river, swamp, quicksand and sand beach. At the same time, it also has the difficulty coefficient of sinking sand beach, extremely hot and tropical rain forest swamp and mud. It is a natural track for automobile and motorcycle cross-country race and a paradise for self driving outdoor camping. It has the title of "China debris flow automobile cross-country track".

Xiaojiang is a tributary of the South Bank of Jinsha River, with a total length of 138.2 km. The valley bottom of Xiaojiang River Valley is 15-50m wide, and the cliffs on both sides are steep, with a relative height difference of 1000m-2000m and a water drop of 909m. Because of the loose rock structure on both sides of the river, the sparse vegetation on both sides of the river valley, and the well-developed deep cut valleys, it is very easy to form large-scale debris flow here.
As long as the flood season comes, the debris flow will be fierce, reaching more than 100 billion cubic meters per second. Large and small stones are carried by mud, and with the thick and thin branches broken, a huge "River" of mud and stone is formed. This is not only the result of ecological imbalance, but also a major landscape of nature. There are 51 debris flow gullies within 90 km below Longtou mountain, among which Jiangjia gully, xiaobaini gully, tarotang gully and Laogan gully are the most developed debris flow gullies.
