Mengnong department is located in Panzhihua township government, 20 kilometers south of Yuanyang County. It was built in the Republic of China. Menglong Department covers an area of about 8000 square meters, three courtyards, three patios, two floors, brick, stone, wood structure, hard peak building, the gate plaque engraved with the hereditary Menglong department. The whole complex is surrounded by high and thick stone walls. Mengnong department is divided into four levels: the chief, the commander, the master, the housekeeper, the general manager, yuetou, the warden and so on. The courtyard on the back floor is occupied by the family of the chieftain. All around Mengnong department are surrounded by mountains, with towering ancient trees and magnificent scenery. To enter the first gate, you have to go up 126 steps. At present, there are only steps, gate and two ear buildings in the two gates. In 1983, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture.
Menglong Department

Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture is located in Yunnan Guizhou Plateau in South Yunnan.
