Monument to the battle of Meng Lianggu

In 1984, the monument to the battle of Menglianggu was built. The monument is located on the highest point of the top of Dagu, covering an area of 5000 square meters and a building area of 100 square meters. The monument, 30 meters high, is made of three pieces of gray granite like bayonets, symbolizing the armed forces system of field army, local army and militia. The base is a 20 meter long, 1.6-meter-high regular triangular body, forming a butt, symbolizing the power coming out of the barrel. Around the butt of the gun is a red wall, symbolizing the wreath under the mountain. On three sides of the monument are inscriptions or works of Comrade Hu Yaobang, marshal Chen Yi and general Su Yu.

Memorial Hall of Meng Lianggu campaign

The memorial hall of the battle of Menglianggu is located in the cemetery of the martyrs of Menglianggu. It faces south, covering an area of 81000 square meters and a building area of 3240 square meters. The museum is divided into five exhibition halls, namely the hall of entrance, the hall of campaign, the hall of front support, the hall of martyrs and the hall of double support.

On the front of the hall are the inscriptions of Mao Zedong, Deng Xiaoping and Jiang Zemin, the core of the three generations of collective leadership of the CPC Central Committee, and the large sand table of the battle of Meng Lianggu.

Meng Lianggu martyrs cemetery covers an area of 81000 square meters, with a construction area of 3240 square meters.

In the cemetery, there is a large granite statue of Marshal Chen Yi and general Su Yu standing on horseback in front of the statue. On both sides of the statue is a stele gallery. In the middle of the statue is the memorial hall of Meng LIANGSU, and in the back is the cemetery of martyrs. In the center of the cemetery is the place where the ashes of general Su Yu are scattered. Behind the place is the Yingming tower of martyrs' tomb. The tower body is engraved with the names of more than 2800 martyrs who died in the battle of Meng LIANGSU, and the last part is the tomb Martyrs before Anti Japanese war. The cemetery is the protection unit of the national martyrs memorial building.

Meng Lianggu martyr cemetery, Meng Lianggu campaign Monument and Meng Lianggu Campaign Memorial Hall are youth patriotism education bases in Shandong Province.
