Jifengshan National Forest Park, a national 4A scenic spot, is located 5 kilometers southwest of Chengxian county. It connects Xianren cliff in the East, Luanshan in the West and Nanhe in the north. Jifeng mountain is famous for its beautiful peaks, beautiful waters and unique caves. It is known as the first mountain in Longnan and the first scenery in Huicheng. It is well-known in Shaanxi, Gansu and Sichuan provinces.

Development history

Jifeng mountain is named for its "solitary peak, straight into the clouds, like a chicken head". According to Jifeng

The cliff stone inscriptions in the Northern Wei Dynasty and the inscriptions in the period of Zhao gen, Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty are recorded in the mountain. In the Han Dynasty, there were cliff stone inscriptions "Ode to Xixia". In the Tang Dynasty, it began to take shape. In the Song Dynasty, there were large-scale temple buildings and Buddhist activities on the mountain. Jifeng mountain and dugong temple on the East and West wings, Xixia ode and "Han cliff inscriptions", "Wuting stele" and "peigonglian calligraphy" Huiying Jifeng Mountain National Forest Park is one of the famous scenic spots at home and abroad. There are countless traces left by literati, military generals, poets and poets. In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Yu Xu created water transport, Ma Rong set up accounts for lectures, Li Xi dug Xixia, Confucius and Ming of the three Kingdoms left Qishan six times, Jingde built temples in the Tang Dynasty, Du Fu moved around, and Wu Ting of the Song Dynasty stayed in Sichuan, which added the connotation of human landscape to the natural scenery.

During the two-month temple fair from February 18 to April 18 of the lunar calendar, there are thousands of tourists. Most of the officials, gentry and celebrities have inscriptions, and scholars and poets chant them every time. Song Wan of Longyou road in the Ming Dynasty chanted, "when was Jiuling built, the chicken nest is here.". The sound of pines is often like rain, and the air of mountains becomes smoke. According to the records of kuodi by Li Tai of Tang Dynasty, the first emperor of Qin toured the west of Longxi and ascended Jitou mountain, which was the peak. According to the new records of Chengxian County written by Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, the first emperor of Qin Dynasty ascended the chicken's head, and his son Fu Su played the flute to attract the Phoenix. Since the Song Dynasty, Jifeng has been famous for its beautiful scenery and numerous historic sites. Jifengshan park has a total area of 4200 hectares and a forest area of 5000 mu. The vegetation is mainly composed of Pinus armandii, Pinus tabulaeformis and Larix gmelinii, and some economic tree species, such as hongqinggang, Castanea mollissima, acanthopanax senticosus, and ornamental plants, such as blacksmith and water cypress. Wild animals include antelope, sika deer, wild boar, wolf rabbit, etc. Jifeng mountain is covered with green pines and bamboos, gurgling streams, numerous pavilions and thousands of clouds. The south slope of the mountain is gentle, with dense masson pine and Pinus tabulaeformis all over the mountain; the north is surrounded by Hengling mountains, overlooking the fertile plain full of vitality in Chengchuan plateau; the middle part is full of ups and downs, with magnificent weather.

According to the existing cliff inscriptions of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the Song Dynasty, there were temple buildings and Buddhist activities in Jifeng mountain more than a thousand years ago. It is said that Yuchi Jingde, the founder of the Tang Dynasty, built a temple here. During the reign of Zhenghe of Song Dynasty, Zhao Qingchen, the local monk Cihui and Zhan Shi donated money to build shengfo Pavilion. They went to Mount Emei in Sichuan Province to pray for Puxian Bodhisattva, and held a grand Dharma meeting in front of Luohan Cave (today's Dragon Cave). Five colors of Buddha light appeared, so they declared that there was a big noise, so they carried out large-scale temple construction activities. "Guangxiang Temple" is also named for the appearance of Buddha light. After continuous renovation, more than 100 ancient Buddhist temples along lingguanxia, ancient temple, Yaowang hall, erlianzi, Erzi hall and meiluofeng Guangxiang temple were built. Many of the buildings are located in the mountains and cliffs, across valleys and streams, or hidden in the bamboo forest, or floating on the sea of clouds and fog. The buildings are magnificent, the buildings are wonderful, colorful and magnificent.

Main attractions

There are 18 sceneries in Jifeng mountain, which are especially famous for its spectacular sceneries, such as "cloud lying immortal bed", "clear spring coming out of Longkou", "stone chicken Ling cliff", "cloud sea floating fairy mountain". The "cloud lying immortal bed" on the North hillside of Meiluo peak, and the "clear spring out of Dragon Cave" on the East hillside. The caves are naturally made of stalactites, and there are many trees in the caves. The springs under the shrines are flowing, clear and clear. Every rainy day, the clouds and fog gush out of the caves, like the jade dragon coming out of the cave, flying. The stone rooster on the cliff above the Dragon Cave is in the shape of a chicken, which is a natural wonder. The "sea of clouds and floating fairy mountain" on the North hillside shows several green peaks in the vast cloud waves. The rising sun and the steaming clouds make people stay in the sea fairy mountain.

The cave is another unique view of Jifeng mountain. The depth of the cave is about 1km. Various stalactites and stalagmites change with the light, angle and imagination.

On the north side of the cliff, a 31 meter statue of a rooster wants to crow. Its shape is vivid and vivid. It is the emblem and symbol of Jifeng mountain. Standing on the top of the main peak, my heart suddenly brightens. Looking around, I can see all the peaks of Jifeng mountain. The pavilions, which are getting lower and lower, are scattered all over the place. Under the rich background, they are like stars in the sky, blinking. Looking at Jifeng mountain in foggy weather, it's even more strange. In the surging sea of clouds, only the summit of Meiluo peak and the hall of Puxian standing on the summit of Jifeng mountain can be seen. Among them, all the peaks sink to the bottom of the sea of clouds, and occasionally the faint ridge and the dreamy mountain temple illusion on the ridge appear. Those phantoms became so far away that they seemed to drag Meiluo peak out of the sea of clouds, with a clear blue sky overhead.
