Kenting street is the night market on Kenting Road, the busiest shopping street in the National Park. It is also rare in the world that business circles and night markets located in national parks, restaurants and hotels on the street, water locomotives beside the beach, and nuclear power plants cause light damage, pollution, and rising water temperature, which do not help the ecological maintenance of national parks. From the perspective of ecological conservation, the existence of Kenting street is not conducive to the ecological conservation of the National Park. However, these unfavorable factors are all earlier than the establishment of national parks. At present, we can only control them to prevent their deterioration.

At the beginning of the establishment of the National Park, businesses on Kenting road only sold famous products in the night market. The key point was that Comet Halley approached the earth in 1986. According to media reports, Kenting was the best viewing place in Taiwan, and a large number of tourists immediately swarmed in. Since then, the number of tourists has increased rapidly, which has led to the prosperity of the surrounding business. The range of Kenting street is between Kenting big bay (Xiadu Beach Hotel) and Kenting small bay beach. Along the road, there are many nighttime bars, dance halls, snack stalls, etc. from day to night, the streets are full of swimmers and domestic and foreign tourists dressed up in beach pants and bikini. The neon lights on the streets make the street scene very lively and have the style of Nanyang resort.

In the evening, in addition to serving meals, there are also pole dancing and other hot performances. Pole dancers wearing three-point swimsuits loitering on guests have been named by the media, but not banned. There are more than 30 individual souvenir shops in Kenting street. There are many shops and small stalls for ornaments and souvenirs. The products have local characteristics. Kenting street is also the most densely populated place of local hotels and hotels in Kenting, such as Xiadu Beach Hotel, Kaiser Hotel and Kenting Youth Activity Center of the national salvation corps, which are all famous scenic spots.
