Liudui Hakka Cultural Park

Liudui Hakka Cultural Park is located in Pingdong county. Liudui Hakka Cultural Park, with an area of 30 hectares, has wetlands and parks. The ecological environment attracts many insects and birds, and the buildings have Hakka flavor. It is a good place for leisure, entertainment and experience of Hakka culture.

The concept of the park is "ecological museum" and "quasi Museum". Focusing on the history and daily life of Liudui Hakka, the theme museum contains six themes, including multimedia exhibition hall, cultural information hall and Liudui special exhibition hall. In addition, the external space exhibition area contains four spaces, including farmer's market, Liudui life square and local children's play. It is a place with multiple functions of preserving Hakka culture, leisure and tourism.

history

Liudui, in the period of Japanese occupation in the Qing Dynasty, was a military organization to protect the countryside and soil. Today, Liudui is the general name of Hakka villages in Pingtung and Kaohsiung counties. It has the same language, customs and history. For Hakka people in southern Taiwan, Liudui is the spiritual identity of the same clan.

Mode of transportation/

train:

Take the train to Pingtung railway station, transfer to Pingtung passenger line 8230, and get off at Liudui Park station.

Self driving:

1. Southward: No.3 national highway will drive southward from Changzhi interchange Road, follow the plane road under No.3 national highway to Linluo direction, and turn left along the index to reach the park directly.

2. Northward: No.3 national road will drive northward from Linluo interchange, and continue to connect with ping37 line (Xinyi Road) for 4km to the park.

3. After connecting with 88 expressway, the interchange of national highway No.1 grade 5A system goes northward at Zhutian or Chaozhou, and meets Xinyi Road (Ping 37 line)

Turn right and go straight for about 3 km to reach the park.
