Dayang reservoir

Dayang reservoir (also known as Dayang Lake), located in Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, Jinyun County, Dayang Town, five kilometers west of the deep mountain canyon. The reservoir, built in the 1970s, is the crystallization of Jinyun people's spirit of self-reliance and hard work. The dam is 805m above sea level, 170m long and 45.6m high, with a total storage capacity of 15.2 million m3, water surface of 1150 Mu and irrigated farmland of 4000 mu.

There are six cascade hydropower stations under the reservoir along Panxi river. In 1979, the World Conference on small hydropower was held here by more than 40 countries and regions, which was highly praised by the experts attending the conference. Dayang reservoir is located between the peaks and canyons of Dayang mountain. The lake water is clear, the fish can be seen, the water is sparkling, and there are wild ducks sometimes. Camellia red, pine green, lakes and mountains, people seem to be in the Jiutian yaochi.
