The ten thousand mu pear garden in Panggezhuang is located in the south of Lihua village on the East Bank of Yongding River. The ten thousand mu pear garden refers to the pear tree resources of five villages including Lihua village, Zhaocun village, qiancaogezhuang village, beicaogezhuang village and hanjiapu village, with a total area of 38000 mu. It is the largest ancient pear tree group in Chengfang of Beijing at present. More than 80% of the pear trees in the pear orchard are over 100 years old, and the longest one is 410 years old. In 1996, it was appraised as ancient pear forest area by Beijing Forestry Bureau. According to the historical records of Wanshu Zaji, as early as in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the "jinbahuang" Yali Pear produced here was used as a tribute to the imperial palace. At present, there are more than 30 varieties of jinbahuangya pear, Guangli pear, Zimu pear, Suli pear, Jingbai pear, Hongxiao pear, Tangli pear, etc. In 1994, Panggezhuang town government took advantage of resources and vigorously developed tourism. It was scheduled to hold a flower fair in April every spring and a picking festival in September every autumn to vigorously develop tourism.
