Hepu Museum of Han Dynasty culture
Hepu Han Dynasty Cultural Museum, formerly known as Hepu County Museum, covers an area of 1330 square meters, with a total construction area of 4100 square meters and a total investment of more than 8 million yuan. The museum is the only site museum in the area with Han culture exhibition as the main part. It is built in the style of imitating Han Dynasty, such as the gate of stone que, the exhibition hall of Han tomb protection, the exhibition hall of cultural relics in the main center, the office building, and the dormitory building for security guards.
Collection
The Hepu Museum of Han Dynasty culture mainly collects, studies, renovates and displays the cultural relics unearthed from the Han Tombs in Hepu, and also collects local cultural relics handed down from generation to generation. There are more than 5200 cultural relics in the collection, including 21 first-class cultural relics, 177 second-class cultural relics and 289 third-class cultural relics. The cultural relics span from the late Neolithic Age to Han Dynasty, Tang and Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty, Republic of China, as well as contemporary important cultural relics. The categories include pottery, bronze, gold and silver, jade, glass, iron, crystal agate, amber and pine stone, painting and calligraphy fans, coins, ancient porcelain, Ming and Qing furniture, ancient books, inscriptions, bamboo and ivory crafts, etc. The cultural relics in the collection are famous for the wine carrying copper beam pot, glass cup, six character inscription, jade Bi, gold, jade belt hook and Amethyst long string of beads unearthed from Han tombs, reflecting the long history of Hepu as the departure port of the "maritime Silk Road" in the Han Dynasty.

1. Bronze Phoenix lamp with feather pattern in Western Han Dynasty
The bronze Phoenix lamp with feather pattern in the Western Han Dynasty is a metal ware of the Western Han Dynasty. The lamp is shaped like a phoenix bird. When you look back, your feet are separated, and your tail feathers hang down to the ground. The copper Phoenix lamp uses animal oil and vegetable oil as fuel. After being ignited, the smoke enters the Phoenix's abdominal cavity along the trumpet shaped lampshade. The abdominal cavity is filled with clean water. The smoke is filtered and then discharged to keep the indoor air fresh. This is also the first lamp with the concept of environmental protection.
2. Small flat copper pot with feather pattern in Western Han Dynasty
The small copper flat pot with feather pattern in the Western Han Dynasty is a kind of wine container. The pot has a small round mouth and a cover. The whole body is carved with feather pattern and diamond pattern. These patterns are commonly used by Luoyue people in the south, which is the material evidence of the exchange and integration of Han culture in the Central Plains and Lingnan Yue culture.
3. Persian pottery pot Persian pottery pot is the earliest one unearthed in China so far, and the only one from the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is about 500 years earlier than that of the Sui Dynasty unearthed in Yangzhou. It is an important material evidence of the communication between the Han Dynasty and Persia.
4. Roman glass bowl
A large number of overseas glassware were unearthed in Hepu. There are only three Roman glass bowls produced in the Mediterranean region in the world. One is in the Meixiu Museum in Japan, one is in the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania, and the other is in the Hepu Museum of Han Dynasty culture.
5. Aquamarine
Among the aquamarine, the light blue azure is the most valuable, and the four in the collection are exactly this color. These four Aquamarine are bright and dazzling. The necklace in the collection is exactly the pendant collected by a magistrate of Xuwen County at that time.

Hepu Han Dynasty culture museum is a popular science education base in Beihai City, a popular science education base in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a patriotism education base in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a national 3A tourist attraction, and the third batch of national free museums. In 2012, Hepu Han Dynasty culture museum was rated as the "nine harmonious" unit in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The second phase project of Hepu Han Dynasty Culture Museum (namely Hepu Han Dynasty Culture Park) is behind the museum, covering an area of 122.859 mu. After the park is put into use, it will be open free of charge. On this basis, our county plans the construction of Hepu Han culture archaeological site park, and cultivates the ancient county cultural tourism market corresponding to the marine culture represented by Yintan.
