Daguo snow mountain is located in NIMA County of Nagqu area. It is one of the sacred mountains of the ancient Xiangxiong tribe and one of the four snow mountains in Tibet. The mountains are majestic and varied. The silver ice and snow on the top of the peak shine straight into the clouds. There are seven peaks on all sides. For example, seven warriors are located around the main peak. People call them seven brothers or seven warriors. In addition, there are eight snow mountains around Daguo snow mountain, called "ganierbachejie", collectively referred to as seven peaks and eight mountains of Daguo.

Daguo snow mountain is the holy land of the ancient Xiangxiong Buddhism. It is said that it is the gathering place of the ancient Xiangxiong gods and the main vein of 360 peaks in Xiangxiong. Dangreyongcuo under Daguo snow mountain is one of the three Yonghu lakes in Tibetan area, which is regarded as the holy mountain lake.

The legend of dangraoqiongzong in the East is the site of King Limu's palace in the ancient Xiangxiong kingdom. It is also the resting place of the master tamiteg who practices the Ming mantra. It is also the excavation site of the Fu Sutra in northern Tibet. There are many natural traces such as letters and handprints on the rocks.
