Cuoe

The inland freshwater lake and selinco satellite Lake in Shenzha county. It's also called cuoomu. Tectonic fault lake.

The lake water is mainly supplied by runoff into the lake, and the main rivers into the lake are Yongzhu Zangbu and Puzhong Zangbu. It has a catchment area of 8985 square kilometers and an elevation of 4562 meters. Its length is 28.5 km, average width is 9.4 km, maximum width is 16.7 km, and its area is about 244 square kilometers.

The lake is rich in aquatic plants, fish and birds, and has six islands.

① Sandra island. Located in the east of cuo'e, it is about 100 meters away from the lakeside. The area varies with seasons, ranging from 4600 to 5100 square meters, about 1.5 meters above the water surface. There are many bird nests on the island. The soil texture is coarse gravel sandy soil, and there are large stones alternating in the southeast of the island. The vegetation coverage rate is about 30%, and the main plant is Artemisia ordosica. There are about 56000 fishing gulls, black headed gulls, spotted geese, red ducks and crested diving ducks, which are the most abundant bird island in cuoe.

② Tiebujiale island. Located in the northeast of cuo'e, it is 300 meters away from the lakeside, covering an area of about 19200 square meters and 16 meters above the water surface. Nests on the island are mainly distributed in the northeast. The soil texture is sandy soil, gravel and gravel. In the southeast, there are mostly large stones alternating with each other. The vegetation in the island is dense. The main plant species are nettle, Artemisia, wild onion, Artemisia and Artemisia. There are more birds, mainly including brown Headed Gull, Red Headed Gull, white winged floating gull, tern, spotted headed goose, long snipe, Red duck, crested diving duck, ochre Redstart, common cormorant, crow and snow finch, with a total of about 59000.

③ On the Commons. Tibetan means "bantouyan egg island". Located in the middle of cuo'e, it is about 200 meters away from tiebujiale Island, covering an area of about 17000 square meters, 14 meters above the water surface, and about 12 meters high in the northwest. The northwest part of Ngong Kung Dibu is mainly gravel, and the southeast part is mainly boulder and gravel. The vegetation in the island is dense, and the main plant species are zunma, Tibetan Artemisia, etc. The island is full of high-density old bird nests, and there are fewer birds today.

④ Seduogang thousand island. It is located in the north of cuo'e, more than 100 meters away from the lakeside. The island has the largest area, 2100 meters long and 1200 meters wide, with an area of about 2.52 square kilometers and 12 meters above the water surface. The ecological environment of the island is similar to the lakeside area, and the soil texture is mostly coarse gravel and sandy soil. The main plants are Artemisia, Cyperus, Festuca arundinacea, Poa pratensis, Stipa, Huanghua, Potentilla divaricata, wild leek and so on. There is no waterfowl breeding on the island, but there are birds that live on land, such as golden eagles, snow finches and sand gulls.

⑤ Osandari. It is located in the southwest of cuo'e. It is about 1800 meters long and 1200 meters wide, covering an area of about 2.2 square kilometers and 100 meters above the water. The soil texture is mostly coarse gravel and sandy soil, and the exposed rock accounts for 20% - 30% of the island area. Vegetation and ecological environment are similar to land.

⑥ Tiebucha island. It is located in the southeast of cuoe. It is about 300 meters long and 120 meters wide. In the west of the island, there are hanging rocks, which are about 15 meters above the water surface. The soil texture is mostly bare rock. In the east of the island, there are gentle slopes, and the vegetation coverage rate is up to 90%, mainly Gramineae and sedge. The ecological environment of the island is similar to that of the land.
