Haitang mountain

Located in Daban Town, Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, Haitang mountain is a national AAAA scenic spot, a National Forest Park, a National Nature Reserve, a provincial key cultural relics protection unit, and one of the top ten excellent scenic spots in the province. The articles published in people's daily and Guangming Daily are regarded as "national cultural treasures". It is a tourist resort integrating natural scenery, religious culture and folk customs.

Haitang mountain is 22 kilometers away from Fuxin city and 160 kilometers away from Shenyang, the provincial capital. With an altitude of 715.5 meters, Haitang mountain is a model of the organic combination of human landscape and natural landscape.

Development history

Pu'an temple in Haitang mountain was built in 1683, the 22nd year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty. It has been a living Buddha for six generations and five generations. It is a famous temple

The Oriental Tibetan Buddhist Center is known as the "little potala palace".

In July 2002, the restored tsoqin hall was officially completed. The building area of the main hall is 968 square meters, with magnificent buildings and different styles. The whole hall is made of 6kg gold and 1200 gems. It is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple restored and constructed in Northeast China.

On August 1, 2007, Haitang mountain in Liaoning Province was approved as a national nature reserve by the State Council.

Located 22 kilometers southeast of Fuxin City, Haitang mountain scenic spot is the main peak at the back of Yiwulu Mountain, one of the three famous mountains in Northeast China. The scenery of Haitang mountain is beautiful in four seasons: in spring, you can enjoy the blooming Rhododendron, cherry and apricot flowers; in summer, it is cool and quiet, which is a good summer resort; in autumn, you can see the red leaves all over the mountain, which is very beautiful in autumn; in winter, you can feel as if you are in a fairyland.

Fuxin Haitang mountain scenic spot is located in Daban Town, Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, 20 kilometers away from Fuxin city.

Haitang mountain is a scenic spot integrating natural landscape and cultural landscape. In spring, you can enjoy Haitang mountain with green hills, azaleas, cherries and apricots blooming; in summer, you can climb Haitang mountain with cicadas singing; in autumn, you can visit Haitang mountain with red leaves; in winter, you can see Haitang mountain with snow pressing green pines, wrapped in silver, and pheasant flying around.

Pu'an Temple

The cliff statues on Haitang mountain, known as the "little potala palace", and the Cuoqin Hall of Pu'an temple, are "the existing representative of the Oriental Center of the Yellow religion of Tibetan Buddhism in China". At present, there are more than 260 cliff sculptures. It is said that the dyes on the Buddha's body are made from some plants on Haitang mountain, which makes people recall the long history and have rich associations with designers and sculptors.

There are many kinds of cliff statues in Haitang mountain. From the mountain to the top of the mountain, on the granite rocks of different sizes, there are various Buddha statues carved everywhere. Now there are more than 260 well preserved Buddha statues, the highest of which is 5 meters, and the smallest is only 0.3 meters. There are 10 Buddha statues in one group, and the largest group has 26 statues, which are called "Jixian stone". Some of the niches are engraved with Mongolian, Manchu, Tibetan, Sanskrit and Chinese characters, and some are painted with colors. Although they have been in use for more than 300 years, their colors have not faded.

The statues on the cliffs of Mt. Haitang have a variety of faces, some of which are smiling and kind-hearted, and some of which are full of anger and awe inspiring. Among the numerous Buddha statues, Sakyamuni, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Maitreya, honglvdudan, Vajrayana, Huanxi Buddha, qianshouqianyan Buddha, Tianwang Buddha, Santou Liubang Buddha, Asura and other Buddha statues are the representatives. Among them, the statue of zongkaba, founder of the Yellow Sect of Tibetan Buddhism, is carved on a high raised rock, which is particularly eye-catching. In addition, there are also Tibetan Buddhas who respect all Buddhas. Therefore, Haitang mountain is also known as the famous mountain of Tibetan Buddhism cliff sculpture art. In addition to the cliff statues, the scenic spot of Haitang mountain has beautiful peaks, with unique natural scenery composed of strange rocks, streams, rare trees and wild flowers.

Hongshigu scenic spot

Grotesque stone, beautiful pine and secluded valley constitute the main features of natural landscape. There are more than 400 species of plants in hongshigu, and the forest coverage rate is 86.6%. Its unique peaks, steep mountains meandering, deep ravines, stone forest. There are also 17 ancient pine and purple cypress trees that have grown for more than 400 years standing on the cliff, and there are more than 40 kinds of wild animals. Haitangshan National Forest Park has been selected as the "top ten" Forest Park of Liaoning ecotourism for three consecutive times.

Tourism information

Public transportation: take train or bus to Fuxin station, then take taxi or minibus to Haitang mountain. Fuxin citizens can take a taxi directly in the South Campus of Liaoning University of technology. A car can take four people, 15 yuan per capita, to Haitang mountain scenic spot. Take No.8 bus, get off at Fumeng county passenger station, and then take a taxi to Osaka town or go directly to the gate of Haitang mountain scenic spot. It costs 10 yuan per person. Come back to the ticket booth at the gate of Haitang mountain. There is a special bus to take you back to Fumeng county. Or walk two kilometers directly to Daban Town, and then take a taxi back to the city.

Self driving route: tourists from Shenyang can enter Fuxin railway Expressway and Fuxin exit by extending fuzhang expressway, which is only one and a half hours from Shenyang to Fuxin;

Tourists from Yingkou can enter from Gaokan station of Fuying Expressway and interchange at Haitangshan.

Dalian tourists from the entrance of Dalian station of Shenhai expressway, via Fuying expressway, can interchange at Haitangshan and get out of the station.

Tourists from Jinzhou can take Jinfu expressway.

Festival activities

Fuxin agate Festival: the reserves of Fuxin agate resources account for about 50% of the total amount of China, and it is the largest agate processing base and trading distribution center in China. In 2005, the annual sales of agate products in China reached 500 million yuan, while that in Fuxin reached 250 million yuan. The agate products and its marketing network in Fuxin have strong influence and high popularity in China. Therefore, at the first "China Fuxin agate Festival", large-scale economic and trade exchanges and tourism activities on agate were also important.
