Five major whistles
Located around Ciping, they are the five main roads leading to Jinggangshan. The mountain peaks are steep, the canyon is deep, and the terrain is very dangerous. They are Huangyangjie in the north, Bamianshan in the south, shuangmashi in the southwest, zhushachong in the South and tongmuling in the East. In the abyss of these outposts, we can see goshawks circling in the middle of the mountain, and the scene is very magnificent.
General introduction
There are many wild peach trees in the surrounding forest, and the peach blossom period is later than the April of the lunar calendar; tongmuling Sentry is 860 meters above sea level, and the tung trees form a forest. Every year when the Tung flowers are in full bloom, the flowers spread all over the mountains; zhushachong sentry and Huangyangjie sentry interact with each other As a confrontation between the north and the south, there is a stream of red water flowing out of its cliff, so zhushachong got its name.
The five sentries are now listed as national key cultural relics protection units and open to the outside world.
Huangyangjie sentry
Huangyangjie sentry post: This sentry post was built in the summer of 1928. It consists of three fortifications and a lookout post: two Fortifications on the right are used to block the enemy coming from Ninggang, Jiangxi Province; one fortification on the left is used to block the enemy coming from Hunan Province; and one sentry post on the top of the mountain is convenient for monitoring the enemy. After the repair of the post, the local army and people have a ballad to describe the post as: "mountain to mountain, mountain to mountain, Huangyang boundary is the peak; setting a post on the peak is like guarding the Motianling." On August 30, 1928, the famous battle of defending Huangyang Kingdom took place here. At that time, with less than a battalion, the red army beat back the attack of the enemy's four regiments and defended Jinggangshan. After learning the news, Comrade Mao Zedong wrote down the poem "the moon of Xijiang River · Jinggangshan" to praise the great victory of the people's war. At the end of January 1929, the enemy forces of Hunan and Jiangxi provinces launched the third counter revolutionary "suppression" campaign against Jinggangshan. Because of the shortage of the enemy forces, the sentry posts were lost and the fortifications were destroyed. In 1960, the sentry post site was restored by the local government. In 1961, the State Council approved it as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
Bamianshan sentry
Bamianshan sentry: it is located in the west of Jinggangshan, 19km away from Ciping, 1484m above sea level. It is one of the five famous sentries in Jinggangshan. It is far away from shuangmashi sentry in the West and Huangyangjie sentry in the northwest. It is an important channel connecting Jinggangshan with Lingxian County in Hunan Province, and is connected by existing roads.
Bamianshan is the most precipitous and majestic peak among the five sentries. The road is rugged and the mountain is rugged. Standing on the top of the peak, you can see the beautiful scenery within a radius of tens of miles.
In April 1928, the army and the people of Jinggangshan built three fortifications here, with nail array, trench and other defense lines, as well as Red Army outposts. At that time, there was a folk song that said: "the streams on the mountain are curved and long, and the mountains on eight sides are shining with splendor. The Red Army's sentry post is on the hillside, which is like a natural wall. Bamianshan, mountain to mountain, the sentry post is on the mountain. When reactionary white dogs attack, they will be killed. "
At the end of January 1929, the enemy forces of Hunan and Jiangxi provinces launched the third counter revolutionary "suppression" campaign against Jinggangshan. The enemy forces in Hunan concentrated their heavy troops to attack Bamianshan. At that time, more than 140 people of the fourth brigade of the fifth Red Army, who stood at the sentry, fought fiercely with the enemy for three days and nights in severe cold. At last, they ran out of ammunition and food. The sentry work was collapsed by the enemy's mortars and machine guns, and most of the officers and soldiers died.
After liberation, the local government restored the sentry post.
Tongmuling sentry post
Tongmuling sentry: it is located in the east of Jinggangshan, 4km away from Ciping, 866m above sea level. It is one of the five famous sentries in Jinggangshan. The existing roads are interlinked.
The terrain of tongmuling is quite different from that at the foot of the mountain. It is towering, towering and straight, standing out of the crowd. In that year, the stone path circled on the cliff of the deep valley, which was the main road from Jinggangshan to Yongxin. It's named because of all the mountains and tung trees.
In January 1929, when the enemy forces of Hunan and Jiangxi launched the third "suppression" campaign against Jinggangshan, the eighth and ninth brigades of the fifth red army beat back the attack of the enemy's three regiments and kept the sentry under the guard of the Red Army.
After liberation, the local government carried out a comprehensive renovation of the post fortifications, built a memorial Pavilion, built a simple road, visitors can detour up to the site of the general post.
Tongmuling outpost was built in April 1928. There is a general post and three sub posts. The perimeter of the fortifications was covered with bamboo nail positions, mainly to prevent the invasion of the enemy in the direction of Jiangxi. At that time, a ballad described the outpost as: "the high mountains are closely linked, tongmuling is sharp and sharp, and the Red Army's outpost guarding the top of the mountain is like an iron stronghold. Guanbei (referring to the area of Nashan at the foot of the mountain) came up to tongmu'ao. The sentry post at the top of the mountain was well done. It was 2600 steps high, so that the bandits could not escape. "
Zhushachong sentry
Zhushachong Sentry is located in the south of Jinggangshan, 17 kilometers away from Ciping, with an altitude of more than 600 meters. It is one of the five famous sentries. It's named for the cinnabar spring flowing from the crag.
Cinnabar whistle: it is the most dangerous of the five whistles. A narrow path is cut from the steep rock cliff in the middle of the mountain. On the right is the cliff, on the left is the deep valley, and on the bottom is the cinnabar river. Therefore, cinnabar Chong has the tendency of "one man is in charge of the pass, ten thousand men are not allowed to open". At that time, it was the only channel from Jinggangshan to QianChuan. Now the road can only reach the foot of the sentry. If you want to visit the sentry shed, it will take you about 20 minutes to go up the mountain from the cinnabar bridge along the climbing path.
There are two lines of defense at zhushachong sentry, and a lookout sentry at the commanding height of the mountain top. At that time, a folk song described this whistle as: "the situation is dangerous when the mountain is hanging on the precipice, and the cinnabar rushes in; it looks like tiger's mouth in the distance, and it looks like Langya pass in the near." During the struggle in Jinggangshan, the enemy tried to invade Jinggangshan many times, but failed.
Shuangmashi whistle
Shuangmashi sentry: it is located in the west of Jinggangshan, 11 kilometers away from Ciping, with an altitude of 1286 meters. It is also one of the five famous sentries in Jinggangshan. At that time, it was a main passage from Jinggangshan to Lingxian County, Hunan Province, and the existing highway was connected.
Shuangmashi is called "shuangmashi" because there are two pieces of natural stones beside the road, which look like the heads of two horses in the distance.
There are many peaks, steep slopes and bare cliffs, which are difficult to climb. The only path, one side is the deep valley, the other side is the huge peak Lianyun, the terrain is very dangerous. On October 24, 1927, when Mao Zedong led the Autumn Harvest Uprising troops to Jinggangshan, it was from here that they arrived at Dajing and Ciping. Wang Zuo led the Ministry here to welcome the workers' and peasants' revolutionary army. In the summer of 1928, the Red Army strengthened and built the outpost, set up five fortifications and three lines of defense. It is still in good condition.
