Langyaba has experienced several years of vicissitudes, but the tall mud forest landscape is still well preserved in the long historical changes. 13 kinds of vertebrate fossils excavated by Chinese and foreign archaeologists have proved that a large number of mammoth and rhinoceros fauna existed here tens of thousands of years ago. From the excavation of many ancient stone tools, pottery, bronzes, weapons, ancient coins and other decorations, it can be proved that there were people living here and engaged in production activities in the Neolithic Age thousands of years ago. The ancient city of "langyaba" collapsed into the ground due to the change of the earth's crust and the interruption of the river. Scholars believe that Dabusu lake is a lake left behind by the lower reaches of the Huolin River. The lake is rippling with blue waves, rich in fish, dense around, and inhabited by a large number of wild animals. It is a good place for hunting, fishing and grazing. Therefore, ethnic minorities live and breed here. Later, due to the diversion of rivers, the water flow was interrupted, the sand was consolidated, and a lot of sodium and magnesium were transported from the surrounding alkaline land by surface water runoff Ions make the fresh water lake become a saline alkali lake with high concentration.

In recent decades, Qian'an has set up a large-scale chemical plant in Dabusu town to extract high concentration alkali water from the lake.
