On March 2, 1945, the Oubei county Party committee was stationed in Yubei village, Yongjia County. The Kuomintang Yongjia County Police Force tried to destroy the Oubei county Party committee. The Yubei militia took up guns and hoes to fight against the recalcitrant forces who were passive in the Anti Japanese War, active in anti Communist, and oppressed the people, and handed over the weapons of Yantan Township Office and Xikou police station, which is known as the "armed uprising in the history of Yubei.".
