Furong Village is the oldest village in Nanxi River. It is planned and designed according to the idea of "seven stars and eight fights", which means that the stars in the sky correspond to the people on the earth, and the stars build platforms and dig pools as symbols. Here, you can not only understand the evolution of farming culture and clan culture in ancient China, but also feel the charming charm of village architecture.
layout
The village is a little square, sitting West to East, surrounded by pebble walls, making the whole village like a small castle. In the East, a gate is opened in the middle of the wall, and two small gates are opened on both sides. Inside the gate, there is a woodcutter tower, which can be seen from all directions. There are five small doors on the other three sides.
Entering from the gate of the village is the main street made of pebbles, named "Ruyi Street", which means good luck. On the south side of the middle part of the main street, an inner lake was dug. The lake water was clear.
The flowers and trees beside the lake are gorgeous and fragrant. There are Pavilion trees and stone bridges in the lake. In the village, the water is diverted along the village walls and roads. There are many water trucks in the houses to connect the flowing water system formed by each "bucket". The house and roadside are clean and elegant.
Most of the houses in the village are of wooden structure, with uneven roofs, simple and elegant shape, beautiful and friendly scale, bright color of white walls and green tiles, and low stone walls and shady trees, making the whole village a harmonious beauty.

Ruyi Street is the most prosperous place in the whole village. It is a good place for villagers to gather and hang out in their spare time. There is a local folk saying: "heaven in the sky, hibiscus on the ground, do you have food or not? Go shopping in Changtang street. "

In the pavilion, there are beauties who can rest by offering benevolence. Especially when it rains, the women who can wash clothes and the children who follow them take shelter from the rain. The light, compact and humane Qiao Pavilion is in strong contrast with the thick and rugged village wall and the south gate, which fully reveals the characteristics of Nanxi River architecture.
