Manjusri cave
Wenshu cave is located in the north of qingliangshe village, Wutai Mountain, Shanxi Province, seven miles away from Taihuai town.
Development history
Manjusri cave was built in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. It is said that there was an old monk who used to travel around with two tigers. He was called "Fu Hu Luo Han". Fu Hu Luo Han is a monk in Xiantong temple. He is supported by Xiantong temple and lives in Manjusri cave. Later, when people found that the old monk had passed away, the tiger accompanied him and refused to eat. People built Buddha statues and halls for the old monk. After the Cultural Revolution! Wutai Mountain Pagoda Temple is decorated with a temple that has been abandoned for a long time, and the ancient Wenshu cave plays a brilliant role again. The current Abbot Shi Puxing is responsible for the maintenance and management of the whole ancient temple. Manjusri cave has been able to receive the pilgrimage and worship of believers from all over the world. When you come down from the eastern stage of arhat Dynasty, you can see the strange mountain situation and the Manjusri cave practiced by Manjusri Bodhisattva. Fu Hu Luo Han is a monk in Xiantong temple. He is supported by Xiantong temple and lives in Manjusri cave.
It is said that Manjusri Bodhisattva once came here to visit jindizang, so it is called "Manjusri cave". In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, this cave was built as a Taoist temple, and there are many ascetic monks.
Main attractions
Temple back hill face gully, wide field of vision. There are more than ten rooms including Mountain Gate, temple and monk's house. There are three main halls with single eaves on the top of the mountain. Inside, there are statues of Manjusri Bodhisattva in Tibetan style. Monks living in the temple offer incense on time.
In the famous Qixian valley of Baima Mountain in Wutai Mountain, there are four ancient temples suitable for Qing Dynasty. From the mouth of the valley to the inside, there are Guanyin cave, dizang cave, Puxian cave and Manjusri cave. These legendary four Bodhisattvas' spiritual traces have attracted countless monks and laymen who practice in seclusion. Manjusri cave is especially located in a precipitous place, with beautiful scenery, strange caves and rocks, which is fascinating!
Temple site: the hillside in the north of qingliangshe village, Taishan, is located on the north side of the lower section of Shiban road from xiaohuatai to xiaminyuan, 0.5km away from xiaminyuan, and the West foot of fennangan. The two holes are connected, small at the top and big at the bottom. The large cave is 36 square meters, and the small cave is 16 square meters. Through a 7-meter-long giant rock crack in the south of the cave, it is complicated. There is a clear spring in the south of the cave, which tastes sweet.
