In December 2000, the State Forestry Administration approved the establishment of "jiajinshan National Forest Park", covering an area of 92.175 square kilometers, which is a national brand. Muerzhaigou is located in jiajinshan National Forest Park in Xiaojin county and Baoxing county. On both sides of the gully are extremely high mountains with an altitude of more than 5000 meters and high mountains with an altitude of 3500-5000 meters. The geographical landscape elements are snow mountains, forests, meadows, Haizi and streams. Muerzhai gully has a narrow bottom, steep mountains on both sides and deep canyons. Muerzhaigou is the most well preserved area of vegetation in Jiajin mountain, and it is a virgin forest that has never been cut down. There are two or three big trees in the ditch. There is one within three or five meters of the ancient tree. The lowest altitude of guangjinba is 2780 meters, while the highest altitude of Jianshanzi in Daogou is 5472 meters, with a relative height difference of 2692 meters. It is a typical high mountain canyon landform. It is said that in autumn, the golden and transparent yew, the flaming red leaves and the rich "four seasons in one mountain" are no less beautiful than the famous miyaro in northern Sichuan. Duoji pengcuo, a former photographer of the Chinese mountaineering team, described muerzhaigou as "the most colorful and charming autumn scenery in the whole Tibetan area" and "at the same time, it has the majestic momentum of the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon".

Jianshanzi is the main peak of muerzhaigou in jiajinshan. On the ridge to the east of muerzhaigou, there is a peak called Baojing mountain. Jiujiahai, about 4930 meters above sea level, lies quietly between Jianshanzi (North) and baojingshan (South). It is said that it was the fairy bath of the four girls. Siguniang mountain, standing in the northeast, is only 10 kilometers away from Xianyu pool.

From the mouth of the ravine, along the ravine, through the big fire, Hongshiyan, balpeng, shuicaoping, lanmukan, xiaoniuchang, pugeyan, bangziqiao and daniuchang, it is about 20 kilometers ahead, then steep to xiongdongzi and jiujiahai. When approaching jiujiahai, the road is steep and vertical, so climbing requires more physical strength and skill. Jiujiahai is a group of Haizi. According to the local people, there are 13 Haizi, of which 4 are seasonal Haizi and 9 are perennial Haizi (unfortunately only 3 are found), so it is named jiujiahai. Nine Haizi are distributed along the ridge, arranged in turn, extending about 4 km. Standing in jiujiahai, you can't help but imagine the extraordinary magnificent landscape around you.
