Dongshan village is located in Xiaoxing'an Mountains, more than 100 kilometers away from Heihe and 50 kilometers away from the nearest Sunwu County, but administratively under the jurisdiction of Aihui District of Heihe city.

The terrain of Dongshan village is relatively high. To the northwest, after erzhan Township, there is the forest farm, which is endless forest and few villages. To the southwest, there is the fertile farmland washed by Heilongjiang, which is close to the county seat, and the villages are relatively dense. Before 1950, most of the black land in Heilongjiang was still an ancient wasteland. Later, 140000 retransmitted officers and soldiers, 50000 college graduates, 200000 youth supporting the border and 540000 urban educated youth came here from all sides of the motherland, contributing their youth, sweat and even life to its development and construction, making it the largest state-owned farm group in China. Mixed among many farms, there are also villages established by farmers from all over the world, and Dongshan village is one of them.

Before 1960, Dongshan village was still a deserted place. A group of farmers from Anhui and Shandong opened up wasteland here. Now there are only 40 households and more than 200 people in the village, but they have planted more than 20000 mu of land. I started with cattle farming and horse pulling, then 12 horsepower small four wheels, and now they are doing large-scale mechanized operations from planting to harvesting. At present, in addition to the cultivated land, there are also large areas of forest and meadow resources. Villagers can make use of many treasures, such as wild hazelnut, mushrooms, blueberries, honey, Hericium erinaceus, various herbs and so on. The village is changing every year. I think the main force of change is diligence and thrift. Compared with the surrounding villages, the natural environment is similar, but the affluence is quite different. Now, the village is the richest village in erzhan township. The village is also connected with roads, paved with cement roads, and every household lives in brick and tile houses. In April 23, 2014, No. 1 central document was established in Heihe. Due to the large area of farming, cooperatives enjoy preferential treatment when purchasing seeds, chemical fertilizers and pesticides because of the large quantity. This alone saves more than 50000 yuan. Due to the unified cultivation and collection, the utilization rate of machinery is greatly improved, and the labor intensity is greatly reduced. The people here are simple and honest. Every family doesn't have the habit of locking the door. The villagers don't have the bad habit of drinking, taking advantage of small things, stealing things, and beating and scolding their parents-in-law. In the fourth grade, I left Dongshan village and stayed in my hometown of Anhui for nine years. Except for a few educated families, many of my children can't live with their parents. It's necessary to separate their families. It's common to beat and scold. However, most of these people in Dongshan are from Anhui. They have never been separated here.
