Baisha fishing fire
Baisha fishing fire is one of the eight old sceneries in Yangshuo and a famous landscape of Lijiang River.
The Lijiang River flows far away from the Bilian peak in Yangshuo. Because of the blocking of the mountain, it forms a river bend, which is called Baishawan. The residents nearby are basically fishermen. In the past, every evening, three or five groups of fishermen rowed bamboo rafts, lit parking lights, and drove fishing eagles to catch fish on the river. The fishing fires scattered in Liluo lit up the river, and the scenery was unique. Now there are fewer fishermen who make a living by fishing. To shoot Baisha fishing fire, we need to arrange the organization in advance to achieve the photographic effect.
Since 1998, Yangshuo has held a fishing and Fire Festival every year, attracting numerous Chinese and foreign tourists.
