The origin of the predecessor
Jining Teachers Training School
In March 1951, the first culture Tutorial school for workers and peasants in Tengxian County of Shandong Province was established; in May, the second culture Tutorial school for workers and peasants in Tengxian district was established.
In the summer vacation of 1953, the first and second cadre schools in Tengxian county were merged, and the school was named as the cultural Tutorial school for workers and peasants in Tengxian County, which was subordinate to the leaders of culture and education in Tengxian county. In September, Tengxian district and Huxi District merged to establish Jining district. Tengxian District Worker and peasant cadre cultural Tutorial school was renamed Jining District Worker and peasant cadre cultural Tutorial school.
In 1961, the cultural Tutorial school for workers and peasants in Jining district was renamed Jining Teachers' training school.
In 1962, Jining Teachers Training School was merged into Jining normal school.
Jining normal school
In 1952, Tengxian District teacher rotation class was established in Xianqian street, Central District, Jining City.
In September 1953, Tengxian district and Huxi District merged to form Jining district. The teacher rotation class of Tengxian district was renamed Jining district.
In 1954, Jining District primary school teacher rotation class was founded.
In 1955, Jining rapid normal school was founded on the basis of the original teacher training class.
In 1956, Jining rapid normal school and Jining primary school teacher rotation class merged to establish Jining rapid normal school.
In 1958, Jining rapid normal school changed its name to Jining normal school, which also ran a rapid normal class.
In 1961, Jining preschool normal school was abolished by Jining Education Bureau (established in 1959). The school site, school buildings and assets were transferred to Jining normal school, and some of the staff were arranged to Jining normal school.
In 1970, the Affiliated Middle School of Qufu Normal University was closed down. The staff of the school moved to Jining and merged into Jining normal school.
In October 1983, the school was returned to the Municipal Education Bureau.
Jining Teachers College
In the summer vacation of 1958, Jining Teachers College was established. In the same year, students majoring in Chinese, mathematics and physics and chemistry were recruited. After entering the school, the students took part in the "steel making" labor at that time. In the second half of the year, Jining District merged with Heze district. Jining Teachers College recruited students and some teachers of Chinese, mathematics, physics and chemistry, and went to Heze teachers college. Most of the staff arranged to run Jining Teachers College in Jiaxiang County Party committee.
In 1960, Jining district was separated from Heze district. During the summer vacation, Jining Teachers College was rebuilt in the former government compound of Xiguan County, Qufu county. In the same year, students majoring in mathematics and physics and chemistry were recruited.
In 1961, Jining Teachers College was demoted, and its staff merged into Jining Teachers Training School. Students majoring in mathematics were transferred to the Mathematics Department of Qufu Teachers College, while students majoring in physics and chemistry were transferred to Qufu Teachers College, Jining Teachers College and Yi County teachers college nearby.
Middle school affiliated to fufu Normal University
In 1957, the secondary school affiliated to Qufu Normal University was established, which enrolled junior middle school students.
In 1958, the school began to recruit high school classes.
In 1960, the school began to enroll five-year high school classes.
After the "Cultural Revolution" began, the school stopped recruiting students. By 1969, all senior and junior high school students had graduated and left school.
Jining art school
In 1958, Jining red Academy was founded.
In 1959, Jining opera school was renamed Jining opera school.
In 1961, due to three years of natural disasters, Jining opera school was abolished in order to implement the central government's eight character policy of "adjustment, consolidation, enrichment and improvement".
In January 1981, the office of the Commissioner of Jining approved the establishment of Jining art school, which restored art education in Jining.
In 1984, Jining art school was renamed Jining art school.
In February 1993, Jining acrobatic troupe was incorporated into Jining art school.
Jining Institute of Education
In February 1978, Jining Teachers Training Institute began to build. In April, the Jining Revolutionary Committee officially approved the establishment of Jining Teachers' training college.
In September 1980, the College moved to No. 15, Changqing Road, Shizhong District, Jining City.
In April 1981, the Department of education of Shandong Province officially approved Jining Teachers Training College.
In February 1984, the college was officially approved by the Ministry of education and renamed Jining Institute of education.
Qufu Normal School of Shandong Province
In 1905, the governor of Shandong Province, Yang Shixiang, changed the former Yanzhou government examination East shed to a new normal school, which was called Qufu county official four's junior complete normal school.
In 1912, Qufu county official four primary complete normal school was renamed as Qufu Normal School in Shandong Province.
In the spring of 1914, the school and Dainan Dao were merged into provincial Yanzhou, Yizhou, Caozhou and Jining normal schools, which were renamed Shandong Provincial second normal school. The source of students was no longer limited to Confucius, Mencius and Zengyan.
In 1918, Qufu Normal School (founded in 1909) was incorporated into Shandong Provincial second normal school.
In 1919, patriotic students of the second normal school of Shandong Province set off a "May 4th" learning tide, and the school got rid of the control of Confucius.
In 1926, the branch of the second division of the Communist Party of China was officially established, with Ma Shouyu as the head. The school is known as the "red second division".
In 1934, Shandong Provincial second normal school was renamed Qufu Normal School.
After the outbreak of the Anti Japanese War, the school moved south to Hubei and Sichuan, and soon stopped running.
In 1939, Qufu Normal School was established in Shandong Province.
At the end of 1945, Qufu was liberated for the first time.
In March 1946, the school was restored to Qufu Normal School in Shandong Province.
In March 1947, Qufu was occupied by the Kuomintang, the school was withdrawn, and then closed.
In June 1948, Qufu was liberated for the second time; in December, Qufu Normal School in Shandong Province was officially restored.
In 1950, Lu Zhongnan normal school, founded in 1949, was incorporated into Qufu Normal School in Shandong Province.
In 1958, Qufu county was merged with Ziyang County, and Ziyang normal school was merged into Qufu Normal School in Shandong Province. (in 1907, Shandong Ziyang Junior Normal School was founded; in 1930, Shandong Provincial fourth rural normal school was founded; in 1934, Shandong Provincial fourth rural normal school was renamed as Shandong Provincial Ziyang simple rural normal school).
In 1981, the school was identified as "key normal school of Shandong Province" by the Provincial Education Commission.
In July 2000, Yanzhou normal school was merged into Qufu Normal School in Shandong Province.
Merger development
In March 1971, the core leading group of the economic and local Reform Commission approved the establishment of Jining normal college on the basis of Jining normal school and the attached middle school of Qufu Normal University.
In 1978, Jining Normal College changed its name to Jining normal college and became a full-time college.
In 1998, Jining Institute of education was merged into Jining Teachers College.
In 2000, Jining normal school (in 1970, Jining Wuqi normal school was founded; in 1973, Jining Wuqi normal school was renamed Jining normal school and Jining normal school)
Jining art school was merged into Jining Teachers College.
In March 2006, Qufu new campus was fully opened.
In March 2007, Jining Teachers College was upgraded to Jining University.
In November 2008, Shandong Qufu Normal School was merged into Jining University.
In October 2012, the people's Government of Shandong Province decided to implement the management system of "provincial and municipal co construction, province based", and become a provincial university.
