Jiashao Bridge
Jiashao bridge is a river crossing channel connecting Haining City of Jiaxing City and Shangyu District of Shaoxing City in Zhejiang Province of China. It is located in the sea area of Hangzhou Bay in Zhejiang Province of China. It is a part of Changtai Expressway < I (National Expressway g1522) < / I.
The construction of Jiashao bridge was started on December 14, 2008. The whole bridge was closed on February 3, 2013 and opened to traffic at 0:00 on July 19, 2013.
Jiashao bridge starts from Guzhu hub in the south, crosses Hangzhou Bay and reaches Nanhu hub in the north, with a total length of 10.137 km; the bridge deck is a two-way eight Lane Expressway with a design speed of 100 km / h; the project investment is 6.28 billion yuan.
Construction process
In 1993, Shaoxing put forward the construction of Jiaxing Shaoxing river crossing project and started the preliminary work.
In June 2000, the 37th executive meeting of Zhejiang provincial government made a decision on the construction of Jiaxing Shaoxing river crossing channel project.
In November 2005, the national development and Reform Commission of the people's Republic of China approved the project proposal for the construction of Jiaxing Shaoxing river crossing project.
In December 2007, the national development and Reform Commission of the people's Republic of China approved the feasibility study report on the construction of Jiaxing Shaoxing river crossing project.
In October 2008, the former Ministry of communications of the people's Republic of China approved the preliminary design of the river crossing project from Jiaxing to Shaoxing. On December 14 of the same year, the commencement ceremony of Jiashao bridge and North South connection project was held on the South Bank of the bridge site.
On July 30, 2009, the trestle project of Jiashao bridge was completed.
On February 17, 2010, the bored pile construction of the main channel bridge of Jiashao bridge was completed; on October 20, the approach bridge in the south land area was closed; on December 28, the approach bridge in the north land area was closed.
On February 23, 2012, the construction of six main towers of Jiashao bridge was completed; on August 1, the approach bridge in the water area on the south bank was closed; on December 3, the approach bridge in the water area on the north bank was closed.
On February 3, 2013, the last two steel box girders were hoisted and the Jiashao bridge was completed; on July 6, the Jiaxing Shaoxing river crossing highway project passed the acceptance; on July 18, the opening ceremony of Jiashao bridge and North South connection was held; on July 19, the Jiashao bridge was officially opened to traffic.
On July 24, 2019, Jiashao bridge passed the completion acceptance of the Ministry of transport of the people's Republic of China.

The main channel bridge of Jiashao bridge adopts a single column four cable plane six tower cable-stayed steel box girder bridge structure, with expansion joints set in the middle of the main bridge span, and the main beam at the expansion joints adopts a rigid hinge structure; the north auxiliary channel bridge adopts a variable cross-section continuous rigid frame bridge; the approach bridges in the South and north middle water areas adopt a span equal cross-section prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge, the substructure adopts a single pile and single column form, and the foundation adopts large-diameter bored grouting The approach bridge in the South and north land area adopts the span equal section prestressed concrete continuous box girder.

Jiashao bridge has a total length of 10.137 km. The main channel bridge adopts (70 + 200 + 5 × 428 + 200 + 70) m cable-stayed steel box girder bridge; the north auxiliary channel bridge adopts (70 + 2 × 120 + 70) m span layout.
